Message 47029 - Posted: 16 Nov 2004, 11:26:49 UTC

Somewhere in other forums I have insisted that this is a scientific project and as such, we are offered some space to exchange comments, ideas and/or results and problems related to what we are helping in, by participating on it.

Exactly as the rules of the radio-hams, in here I should insist that it would not be allowed to discuss themes on politics, religion, nor business.

I have nothing against either one, but I do think that the administrators of the project should prohibit that type of talk in here. Sorry for those that do not agree with it.

First of all I do not know how to rename the thread (and say it is closed).
If people want to attack me by being honest in my mind then I don't care, it will come thru one ear and get out thru the other.

Then who should re-name the other threads as closed should be Misfit to whom I present my respects and have nothing against him, but I will not retrieve what I already wrote.

By the way, thanks to you too for the info and then I just hope nobody else answers anything in this thread, which I take it can be Closed by the Administrators if they wish to do so. I will not feel offended by it.

Hello everybody,

i'm also seriously fed up with all this religious, politics, military and flame talk all over here. I thought, we all came here for having a good time? Instead some people (I don't write names here) having fun distributing havoc in this community. The best way to handle this hazardous behaviour is to simply ignore it!

---------- to make my point more clear ----------

But in the last time it is nearly impossible, to find an interesting thread on topic without this banal rampaging.

--------------------------------------------------

Sorry, had to say this, feel better now.

Aloha, Uli

It seems so simple. If you don't like religious controversy avoid the clearly labeled religious belief board.

You can't compare an Internet message board with Ham radio.
In order to have your ham ticket you need to work, sometimes
hard to get it, so you enter a community with respect.
Any idiots can buy a computer and say what he wants over message
board. I myself talk about things in here I would not on the air.
I think it's a good thing though. Freedom of speech, if you don't
want to talk about religion nobody is forcing you to do it.
The only thing that should be monitored is what is posted where.
I just hate seeing "I have no credit" in the science board, or
"Do you put sugar in your coffee" in the crunching board.

Regards

Morning H. Richard,

It is 21.2725 MHz (15 meters ham band) so yes it does.
I'm just not verry happy with the frequency Stability.
It was suppose to have a ±0.5ppm stability. There's got
to be something wrong with the TCXO oscillator...

I know nothing about that, I haven't been active on the crunching board
since I don't know when. It's always the same crap over there...

Hello Papa Zito. I am advising Admiral not to sell you his church, because you are a socialist.

YOU? Ahahahaha! EEEENNNTT Wrong! Paranoia will destroy ya. There you go again. Always thinking everything is about YOU. I got the idea of the political thread from Carl Cuseo's get them while they last thread dealing with gun control.

So he can be a hypocrite and flame/attack/accuse you of doing what he suggests!

Your hands are very sore, lonely guy, but it's not from posting.
