Angela does rhyme so fine
for me it always takes some time.

Mike, with you I'm quite impressed
You rhyme as well as all the rest
T'would take from Lunes to Domingo
For me to rhyme in another lingo!

Angela's getting all a'quiver,
Working her lines-out to deliver.
But don't lets get into a dither,
Cos we're all in the same boat with'er.

Mike's natural tongue is not this way,
and rhymes leave him slightly uncertain.
As Angela says his grasp really needs no delay,
as he is as good as anybody beneath this curtain.
It's good to be back amongst friends and colleagues

Well at least Mikes not behind the Iron Curtain, although I do have a piece of that here encased in what looks like Lucite and no I don't mean to incite. As for rhymes, I don't cut the mustard.

On Poet's Day we are all friends, nobody displays animus
We spit up verse without a fear, nobody's pusillanimous

We sit around and throw out words in form so miscellaneous
The end result is doggerel that sounds extemporaneous
