This car works for Me, Even though the A/C is still out as it still leaks, most likely cause the area under the hood was fixed of any leaks, But the area under the dash was not touched and only after having spent over $500 was I was told by the place that did the work, that the area under the Dash is an area they can't work on, so now I just roll down the window, I'll eventually get the a/c fixed totally, But it may be at the local Ford dealer, maybe, Somewhere around October or November of 2012. Tires won't be replaced until December 2012 or an oil change until December 2012 or January 2013.

This is my daily drive, Ford Orion RS. 190 hp 2.0 litre Pinto engine, limited slip differential, plenty of toys. Outruns most things on the roads, still drives superbly considering its a 17 year old car. No traction control though, TC is for wussies.

The teddy is not a permanent feature by the way.

130hp for the 1999 Escort zx2 Hot Coupe, sport on trunk lid(a 2yr only model run) 2.0L i4 engine 4spd automatic and K&N air filter + K&N oil filter w/Royal Purple 5w30 motor oil vs 190hp for Orion RS and a 3spd auto, I think I could keep up, I get 26mpg city and at least 33mpg hwy mileage. But then 2004-2010 V6 Mustangs are about the same hp as the Orion RS of yours.

oil change until December 2012 or January 2013.

VW did I read that right? May I suggest an oil change every three thousand miles? At least.

That's a myth Celt, But then I used premium oil, right now I have no extra money for an oil change, As I'd have to buy 5 quarts of Royal Purple 5w30 oil(about $10 a quart) and a K&N oil filter(about $10 too), I drive maybe 2500-3000 miles a year, plus I'd have to pay for the oil change(maybe $30), So I'm not due for another year or so. Before I started installing this oil My exhaust could turn white if I accelerated any, now no smoke.

Thanks, that is interesting. The how to’s for my car, a 2005 PT Cruiser, says 5W30 every 3000 miles. I suppose I could have put in the expensive stuff, but on our budget the regular stuff is what it gets. I put 3000 miles on in 2 and one half months. What do you recommend?
