Raccoon cubs come and then they grow,
and Angela watches as they go.
But, her musings will start quite rude
with Interloper Mama's next new brood.
It's good to be back amongst friends and colleagues

Raccoon kits sure grow up fast
They're gone before a year has passed
But every year I am in awe
To be a great great great grandma!

Eric spends a quiet Father's Day in his messy den, accompanied by our daughters...

Here is a picture of Eric enjoying Father's Day further by drinking a mint julep and spending some quality time with our son Spawnie.

I recognize that Apple IIGS under Zsa Zsa's back legs.
Is it still in use? Mine is.

I don't know, but I suspect that Eric does not own any machines he cannot get into working order. There are few things he enjoys more than finding a dumpster discard, cleaning in up, getting it humming and then finding ways to maximize it up to what was historically possible at the time of the machine's release. It is a very strange hobby to have and one I do not fully understand; but I have to admit that I find it charming. I will ask Eric to answer your question if he has a free minute tomorrow.

It is an Apple IIgs, and I tend to go overboard on my machines. The Woz signature on the front is the real deal. Other details.... 4MB RAM, 200MB SCSI Drive, SCSI interface, Z-80 card, PC Transporter 8088+8087 card with 360k Floppy, 5.25" DSSD floppy, 3.5" DSDD floppy. It does AppleTalk sharing to the Macs when I take anything over 2GB off the network. It's hooked into my KVM network through a Mac<->PS/2 protocol converter and an CGA-EGA-VGA to XGA scan converter I bought from an Australian video game refurbisher. The IIgs can't handle the mouse data rates, so I may need to build a special interface using a PIC at some point in the future.

Is it becoming clear why my den drives Angela insane?

Look out Eric, the CRL is on the move. Yeah I have a rare Atari 1200XL computer, It needs some mods to It's s-video port and to the SIO port, which I plan on getting done in August(it was July, but plans change sometimes), Atari only made about 100,000 of them back in 1982, Now there may be only 100 or so left.

Good lord, have you got that puppy tricked out!
Waaaay past my level. Mine is mostly stock, just added a SCSI card and a 40MB Q-Drive.

You rock, Doc!
