Good morning win.
The first meal of the day is called breakfast. Who cares if it is 3.30 pm?
By that rule the first coffee of the day is not necessarily the same as the first coffee after midnight.
I therefore confiscate that coffee. Even if it's cold by now :D

Well then enjoy the cold coffee, I've got plenty, Mine will be warm, sweetened and have some creamer in It, yum, That'll put a smile on Yer face. But first I need to make My coffee, clean a pan and a spatula, Then enjoy what I've done.

Hiya all... tell me something, how come when I was reading this post and I came across multiple "YAWN" references, I just had to "YAWN". Am "YAWN'ing while I type this. Who started this "YAWN" thing anyway?

Uh huh, John Clarke seems to be the culprit!! Me thinks he should make pancakes for all...with maple syrup etc. Or at least a decent BBQ!

I have no idea, As to Pancakes the only person I know of who could out do Me was My Brother, He made them from scratch, With some Bisquick of course. This is what My relatives tell Me of course, As I only experienced His waffles, Which were also from scratch... Right now I have plenty of mix, But I'm out of margarine and almost out of syrup too, So no pancakes for a few days here. Of course getting canned eggs is getting harder cause of the #10 can shortage, One seller is saying It's a label problem[Honeyville Grain], Yeah right, Sure It is... Not.

It's supposed to be only contagious with people you like...
Scientific fact of the day:
Yawning is the evolutionary remains of a reaction to lack of oxygen.
If you were a fish yawning would reverse the flow of water through the gills thus cleaning them.

Maybe where You live, Here If I have all the needed ingredients, I'll make pancakes whenever I don't feel like having eggs and sausage to eat. yum, yum. Of course I still can't buy real butter in a big tub at Stater Brothers(as I don't like partially hydrogenated oils which are bad for Me), Nor My favorite corn based & flushable cat litter, Or etc, etc... the list goes on and on, As those items I buy at Vons, Last month I did My main shopping at Vons instead of Stater Brothers(bit of a protest, Like Staters would care), It cost Me about $37 more than If I'd went to Staters and gad that Vons store in Barstow CA is HUGE, I was egghausted afterwards, Next time I might use the Vons supplied ECV as walking there can be a real workout and My joints were barking loudly at Me.

What is Pancake Day?

Many people are familiar with Mardi gras celebrations on the day before Lent. But in Liberal, Kansas, the day before Lent means just one thing – it’s Pancake Day.

The friendly little competition between Liberal, Kansas, and Olney, England, with women running down the streets of each town flipping pancakes, has been going on for more than 60 years now. It is still the only race of its kind on the planet.

In Olney, the Pancake Race tradition dates back more than 500 years to 1445. A woman engrossed in using up cooking fats (forbidden during Lent) was making pancakes. Hearing the church bells ring calling everyone to the shriving service, she grabbed her head scarf (required in church) and ran to the church, skillet and pancake in hand and still apron-clad. In following years, neighbors got into the act and it became a race to see who could reach the church first and collect a "Kiss of Peace" from the verger (bell-ringer.) The kiss is still the traditional prize in both races.
