My old Morris Minor 1098cc used to run comfortably on war time junk petrol (88 octane). I see the Fruit Bat has the right machine for unleaded, and it is 91 octane Monday (at least it is here).

Most of the gasoline (petrol) sold here is of the junk variety (assuming our octanes ratings mean the same as the UK's)...The usual recommended fuel is "regular" 87 octane...with just a few recommended to use only "premium" 92-95 octane...

I was hoping to get a face Time call from the land of fashion but it didn't come.
Just spent half an hour on the phone with the apple store to order an aluminium stand for Magentas MBP. Spoke to a nice fellow in Austin Texas.

What with the fshion textile dyeing and exclusive fashion cloths workshop and all the iPad and Allpe IT coming in to land. That part of Oz will become the capital of SETI fashion.
It's good to be back amongst friends and colleagues

Trying out the new wireless keyboard.

So...is it working?

It works perfectly, thanks Dan :-)

I am getting a stand that will put my laptop at eye level, which will make the keyboard less accessible...so in comes a wireless, bluetooth keyboard to save the day.

Mornin' cafe people :-)

Now you just need to convince the bat that you really, really, really need a magic mouse ;)

I got Magenta a magic mouse but it was so good I kept it for myself and gave her my very annoying track pad.
She says it works fine because the new operator isn't retarded. :)

I was born clueless, and I've been losing ground ever since.

@ Magenta: Thanks I hope our Steeler, Hines Ward, does well also.
Not only is he a terrific athelete, he is a humanitarian and a class act.
In September 2010, President Barack Obama appointed Ward as a member -
of the President's Advisory Commission on Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders.

@ K - I was watching some American show that talked about the Dancing with the Stars contestants. He sounds like a great person.
