It is indeed the last day of 2010, and the last day of the last year in which IPV4 is available to all devices. I hope IPV6 is actually implemented in time.

Happy New Year...it has just gone past midnight in these parts :-)

We still have most of the last day of 2010 to go through, Heck It's still Dark out and It's below freezing outside 28°F/-2°C, Of course I'm in Southern California and It's danged cold outside...

I spent some time at 29 Stumps while in the service. I had to laugh because when we woke up in the morning there was snow on the ground but by noon it was 80 degrees. I really loved being stuck in the high desert! :p

Winning while it's a relatively warm 55°F, and I'm getting ready for the New Year's by taking the old girl out to dinner, and a movie, then a party.

So, have a Happy and safe New Years everyone.

Mr. Finkleberry, if you are planning on having your lovely evening out with Mrs. Finkleberry end with a midnight smooch, I strongly recommend that you do not refer to her as "the old girl"... EVER!!!!!!!!!

Yep, old girl is very bad indeed, It refers to competition, Women don't always like that I hear.

In any case, Angela, I did the last shopping in Barstow for 2010, Have a Happy & hopefully quiet New Year, Me I'm exhausted.

Oh and I looked at downtown Yermo and unlike a few years back, Except for the 3 places around the Post Office all the others are deserted and gone(out of business, boarded up, broken windows), Yermo's downtown is almost a ghost town now.

I'm still waiting on the house, But then the agents are sick. sigh, At least no one else has made an offer. Hehe. :)

The last 2 years have seen large personal and work related highs and lows for me. Ending mostly on lows. So I find this time of year very depressing.

So I will just wish everyone a winning and hopeful 2011.

Bernie.

2008 was a cr*p year

2009 was a cr*p year

The first half of 2010 was not good, but overall 2010 has not been too bad.

Happines and a good 2011.
