Forgot to wish everyone a happy winter solstice. But then no one's perfect. :D I'll take the niw in real estate, I'm involved in the process of buying a house for $49,900 Mark. The house is in perfect shape and cause It has only 1 bathroom, the bank wants only $49,900 for It. The T1 Trust, PRR T1 Class 4-4-4-4 #5550, 1 of America's First HST's |

Is that a tear in the carpet in that one pic? Not that it would matter, I'd get rid of that ugly brown carpet anyway. Other than that it looks like a nice little place you've found there Vic. I do wonder why they felt the need for so much security though. Is it in some kind of a bad neighborhood? PROUD MEMBER OF Team Starfire World BOINC |

I've heard of a case where a whole house was stolen, walls fixtures and all. Winning. Carola ------- I'm multilingual - I can misunderstand people in several languages! |

I do wonder why they felt the need for so much security though. Is it in some kind of a bad neighborhood? I didn't see that Yesterday, I think the carpet was cleaned and that white spot could have been just some trash, I forgot My camera and My cell phone has no flash function for the camera. Brown? I can live with that, I have old white carpet here. As to the Bars, A few do have them although most don't, I'll just have to live with them. As to the neighborhood, It's no worse than any other in Adelanto, One place I looked at had It's A/C still, But the place next door, theirs was gone. But then empty and not so secured houses attract unwanted attention. The T1 Trust, PRR T1 Class 4-4-4-4 #5550, 1 of America's First HST's |

Forgot to wish everyone a happy winter solstice. I have one thing to say to you Vic......... Take care of Angel. I happen to think, as some have posted in this and many other threads.......that you are walking a thin line. You post about your computer purchases, yet you post about not having enough money to have a downpayment on a new home, much less the unanticipated upkeep. I am your friend.....although we have come to verbal blows from time to time. I donated money to your for kitty care in the past. And a week or two later you were back online boasting about your latest computer purchase. I am a friend.......but I am not oblivious. You are either lying to us about your financial situation, or you have a very serious problem in dealing with reality. Time to come clean. Mostly about the same things........finances and your care of kitties. I think you need to revalutate what you have and where you can go from this point, and stop posturing what you can spend for a monster computer. Vic.......all of us will luv you and Angel just as much here if you forgo the computer and just get your new home and take care of Angel. You don't need to be a big gun at Seti. I know you like to talk trash here a lot, that's OK. Just get a grip. Please. "Freedom is just Chaos, with better lighting." Alan Dean Foster |

Forgot to wish everyone a happy winter solstice. Well I'll try and clear that up, Normally I get $845 a month, A couple days ago I sold My mobile home to the park so that I could raise the amount for a down payment on a house elsewhere that's a bit larger(912sqft vs 840sqft) and that has no danged steps(My knees), The mortgage payments will be about $275 or so I'm told @ $62,000. At $49,900 the payments over 30 years could be about $221 a month, maybe. So since I only needed about 3% for the good faith deposit and for My part of the down payment(the San Bernardino County HAP(Homeownership Assistance Program) pays for up to $40,000 for the rest of the down payment and for all closing costs and they do mean all, But not for any repairs), I had to do what I did, I didn't see any other choice(My car isn't worth enough), the house had to be vacant and in excellent(turn key) shape, Or the county would not approve the house for their program for very low to moderate income people. the program makes the house an affordable house and adds a 2nd mortgage that after 10-20 years goes away(10 years for $14,999 of assistance or 20 Years for between $15,001 to $40,000 in assistance), Before that if the house were sold or empty, the 2nd would come due(be wanting to be paid off). I can't keep any money from the house beyond $2,000 so I have to spend most of It, Before 9 months are up, pouring It into the house beyond a couple of throw rugs, gravel, landscape fabric and maybe a gas range(stove) doesn't make sense. Actually I don't, At least I don't think I do... I'll also be able to qualify for a program called Sash which will put some free(for someone of My income level at least) solar(photovoltaic) panels on the south facing part of the roof and an inverter somewhere else on the house for nothing that will help My electric bill as I will be running the A/C as there will be no swamp cooler there. I have nothing to be ashamed of, Nor should I. The T1 Trust, PRR T1 Class 4-4-4-4 #5550, 1 of America's First HST's |

Well, I beg to differ, my friend. And many other do to, so don't take me for a target. I am just the one who chose to finally speak up to or to you. You don't fool me anymore. And it is not a big matter really. I am still your friend. Although your financial situation is no longer any concern of mine. You have fooled and befuddled us for a number of years now, and ...that dog don't walk here anymore. Period. Cry about your finances and your house buying problems somewhere else for awhile. You have garnered all the sympathy you can get here.......verstai? Vic....you have been granted every liberty and sympathy God and Seti has to offer here. I think you need to fess up to the rest of us. And if my calling you out of the closet causes you pain........I think that's all the more reason that I have done it. Do I need to send in the kittie squad to save Angel?? "Freedom is just Chaos, with better lighting." Alan Dean Foster |
