Sounds good Blurf, Yeah the payment for the FHA mortgage is supposed to be about $360 a month for 30 years and It's a fixed mortgage.

Sounds like that one is screaming out to you! I mean Victorville? Come on, how much of a hint do you need? :-)

@ PJ: And the most expensive utility deposits too.

@ Blurf: I use DSL Extreme, Shouldn't be a problem, As long as DSL is within reach.

The Hesperia place doesn't qualify for DSL(Dial up only), Victorville looks promising and so does Adelanto as both say inconclusive, I use Dry Loop DSL(No dial tone), I may have to go to gasp! Charter Cable! @ $19.99 a month so far for 1M/?)...

Well I was not winning yesterday. A journey of 50 miles (Chelmsford to Croydon South London) Took 11 and a half hours!!

Left at 3pm got home at 2.30am!! Never seen so many abandoned vehicles, truck drivers had just stopped where they could and gone to sleep!

Of course for a quick 90minute drive I had nothing to eat and no water. I did however have an empty water bottle that provided much needed relief:-)

Apparently there is still chaos this morning, my boss has at least given me the day off to recover.

Not a journey I am keen to repeat.

All over some snow!!

Bernie

Well I was not winning yesterday. A journey of 50 miles (Chelmsford to Croydon South London) Took 11 and a half hours!!

Over here at Kingston which is 8 miles from Croydon, we've got about 1/2" in the garden and nothing on the pavements or roads.

About 4 to 5 inches here. Apparently on the roads around the south and east of London the snow fell, started to melt then froze solid late afternoon, so it was like driving on slippery cobblestones, and that was the M25, much worse on other roads. However I do believe that whilst the snow was bad, bad driving made things a lot worse, people seem to panic. At no time during my 50 miles did I ever feel out of control, and I have a 2.5 automatic Jag, NOT the ideal car for snow!!

Oh yes and time for a win!!

Similar story here Bernie. Got caught in a snowstorm the other night (never thought I'd be saying that, this time of year AND in the UK!!!) and it took me 3 hours to drive 14 miles. It wasn't necessarily the snow, it was the ice that was forming beneath the wheels that was the problem! Within 30 minutes of the snow starting the roads were like a skid pan!

Snow? Wow, Yeah no snow here since 2008, Now that one brought a whole area to halt for about 150 miles in either direction on the local I15 freeway.

Great to hear from You Andy, Me I'm almost about to sell My house just to raise a good faith deposit($500 to $1000), Yeah I got approved for a $45,000 mortgage with Guild Mortgage, Of course I don't like a $45,000 mortgage so I'm looking for something for about $30,000 instead and there are a few, here and there.

Sitting winning while I watch Lincoln seize up. One of the critical roads (Lindum Hill) had 2 lorries get stuck, then the whole city went in to gridlock. Took 1 teacher 4.5 hours to drive 10 miles, and another commuter 2.5 hours to drive half a mile.

I look on in sympathy and not having to get stuck in the gridlocks "like the rest".

You'd abandon your car at that point and walk wouldn't you? Or long before that point actually!
