If you are on Amlodipine it is a known problem. I've been changed to Ramipril. |

Fortunately My blood pressure is rarely a problem, Even when I could walk longer distances, It wasn't, It was mainly My back that was the limiting factor. Ghost Towns are really interesting places, If only they could talk, They'd tell tales that would curdle Your blood sometimes I'd think. Put it on You tube and post the link. 5 balls is impressive. I've always stayed with 3 objects. Not always balls. A knife, axe, and dead chicken are always good fun. Just don't stand too close. You would not want to be hit by the chicken. |

5 balls is impressive. Yes it is, and also a hella-of-a-cluster for a hand full! It's good to be back amongst friends and colleagues |

Check with the visitor center about the tour of the closed off section. IIRC the last tour is early. You don't want to miss it by not knowing about it. Make sure you take care of that blister! And I'm not sure I'd want to take a balky car on the dirt road there. Thanks we're up early to go there anyway. Opens at 8am. The gravel track won't be a problem, did Titus Canyon in Death Valley a couple of days ago, which is a 30 mile dirt track - had some nasty noises from under the car and lost traction in a couple of places, so if it coped with that it will cope with the gravel track to Bodie :o |

Glad You're having a blast Andy, Oh and Your name is be tossed around a bit, here and there over in Number Crunching, I think the word riot is being used. Later. I wonder is their anything like It in the UK? We have quite a few oldish buildings to explore - probably several thousand, like this one - There has been a fortified position on this crag for nearly a 1,000 years, and someone living in the fortifications all that time. As part of this fortified complex, the Chapel Royal was built over nearly 200 years and completed in 1545, together with the Queen Anne gardens. It's good to be back amongst friends and colleagues |

My Aunts house is is much older than Bodie, records say it was built in the 1720's but an archaeologist says the original part looks like it was built in the 1300's. |

Give me a clue what's going on in number crunching to save me looking. I can't have done anything wrong, I've not been crunching for a little while now! |

The Kitties are done crunching? Just until your health is sorted, right? Update on my jolidays: Did Bodie this morning, without incident. Fantastic walk about, lots of pics (to follow) then a pleasant drive to Yosemite. No hiking at Yosemite, but lots of sight seeing & photos. Then on to San Fran, where I am now - feeling worn out after all that walking this morning and driving this afternoon. Done about 350 miles today on top of the 2 hours at Bodie. We have a few days here, then home :( Weather here is MUCH colder than we have got used to over the last couple of weeks! At least we'll be well adjusted for the weather back home in the UK though! |

The Kitties are done crunching? Just until your health is sorted, right? Not as cold as the UK. It's still Southern California. |

No Its not that, You're fine, It's more along the lines of Your proximity to Berkeley than anything else, It's in a thread called "Do I hear the sound of a Riot?" It's about the problem with WU's for Seti, Some of It has been fixed already, But so far not the lack of MB work I think, As to the 2 nominations, I think that was more tongue in cheek protest than anything else. We did have a field test of Matts newest toy for Seti, A remote controlled powerstrip, As Ptolemy needed a reboot as everything here depends on that server, then the toy did Its job and here We are, sweet.
