Hey no problem....Sundays are dead quiet over here.

I always win...even when people are going apesh*t on me for telling them to relax during the current outage issues. Hello....I'm not a mod anymore. Coming to me for these issues or spouting profanities at me for simply pointing out what Matt's saying isn't going to help...

Sheesh--it's a friggin hobby.

Popping in for a sleepy win on this fathers day. We are going out to see The A team this afternoon. I used to love watching the A Team when I was a kid.

Ain't it!

They've been told 'till the cows come home to have a backup project or more than one. Oh, I know, even after being told that they went out and spent a pile on money on a CUDA cards and they can't find a backup project to use the CUDA cards. So to put into perspective they spent cash to try and make a number bigger on a webpage that isn't a bank account. Pretty silly thing to do, but that is human nature.

The rest of us are giving extra unused capacity for science, knowing it may be a millennia before there is a result. I guess when there is a insignificant hiccup in the data flow they suddenly realize what they have done and lash out instead of looking in a mirror. If they want some ready data maybe they should look at the math projects like ABC and Collatz.

Now if they want SETI 24/7 then maybe they should pick up Matt, Josh, Dan, Eric, Kevin, Robert, David and Jeff's salaries. I think the fund raising fell a little short, so full time became very part time. Hey, maybe instead of getting 10 CUDA cards they could have got 8 and sent the difference in as a donation! I know I'm not supposed to talk ill of the kind of donation people make, but if everyone is only willing to give one kind and they run out of a different kind, it all stops.

Please do not step in to this one Gary. It was taken from another thread where I asked them to back off.. they brought it to messages and took it to personally abusive. I am not and will not be happy about the latest string of disasters. And quoting what Matt wrote for the umpteenth time is not helpful.
No one is asking for 24/7.. right now I would be thrilled with 12/2. It would be a major upgrade. As far as finding other boinc projects, If I pull a plug it will be completely from boinc. I am not around to alpha test the software.

Now if they want to bring it back out, we can go around and around about it again. Won't that make us all shiney happy hakuna flipping matada type people??
