Way too deep for a land bridge, Even during the last ice age when the oceans were about 400'(121.92 meters) less then they are today, Most of the Bering Sea was land as was Mot of the North Sea area, One could walk from France to the UK, The islands today in the North Sea? Tops of Hills and such.

Oh and speaking of the last Ice Age, Panama was formed 3 million years ago according this Here and that land bridge had something to do with the last ice age and human ancestry(Everyone is descended from 1 Male human 60,000 years ago in Africa, As that's what the genes tell science, As that's the start of the Y chromosome in Humans It seems[skin color and other surface traits be damned]).

Dear Mr. Moderator/Tester/Volunteer: You yourself referenced my quote and I suppose you read it. Maybe by now you have noticed your mistake. The quote "Atlantic Ice Bridge" has the word "Ice" in it, and I dare say ice is not land. Ice can be on land, but surely you know I mean sea ice and not ice on land in the sea(rising above the waves that is).

I hope as a moderator you are a better reader than displayed with your post describing the word ice as land. I know a person/thread can be banned/deleted for an attack, but please do not do so. Pointing out is not attacking.

I am pleased you read the post. Maybe everything I said is wrong. It was not on purpose, if it is. Maybe I am weak with my memory and lazy with my research. I don't believe I did harm to anyone or the World in general. Surely for us hominids to last as long as we have, a few mistakes can be tolerated.

There is archeological proof of Europeans crossing an Ice Bridge and I am not sure, but there may be DNA evidence also. The Europeans may have bred with the Indians.

Most of the Europeans, I would speculate(by others research) got wiped out with the meteor blast 13 million years ago, which besides frying everyone close by, caused catastropic flooding. I imagine most of the cross-bred people(if there were any) got wiped out also. Leaving mostly, if not all, Siberian Indian descendants.

Again, I don't know. I'm just putting together a lot of stuff I think I heard.

Me sorry and bad too. It's hard to hold back my rancor. I don't do well in a Moderated World.

I see a certain person from Libya had trouble holding back his rancor today. I always hoped as I became older, I could mellow in a good, heart-warming way. At least I'm not going off in front of The World and cementing a legacy of bad behaviour. It would have been so wonderful, even if he did not mean it, for the Libyan Leader to give in to his better side. Could it the low humidity that does it? Just joking.

Hopefully when ET decides to invade, they will do it on a good day and kill only half of the World's population and eat the rest. They eat live you know. I imagine they will do taste tests first. I don't know what countries will be the live eats. If I find a link(wink) I'll let you know.

My Dad worked for the NSA in the 50s, early 60s and I always wondered about his bulbous head and dark oily eyes. Of course he never talked about the work he did or didn't do. Do they really work? I don't know where he is or if he is dead. Did he go back home? I don't know if ET tatooed his butt. That's a good thing not to know, right?

I think running Seti@home is unrewarding because there is such a disconnect. I was excited about it in 2002 on a childish level. All hope. I could push negatives aside. Now I feel no excitement and no hope. The only connect I can get with the cosmos and what may be out there is Sci-Fi, TV, Movies. My own imagination has Zilch. I can make up some BS, but it is unsatisfying.

Stay away ET. I don't want to be disappointed, eaten, or enlightened.

Whether you have a credit of 38 million for SETI or 38 hundred, you are still ZILLIONS of miles and credits from finding ET. I would say you are thousands of tons of fur to be cleaned out of your PCs away from finding ET.

The closest any of us will get to ET will be when we are turned back to the famous "Star Dust", and we float by them, are sucked into their lungs, or into their ventilation systems for whatever devices they are cooling.

If a person believes in the Star Dust thing, they are all around us now and we are them, as has been mentioned ad nauseam.

So, some of you...and some of them...some of us...go back again...
to dust...to rust...after all the fuss...we all end up on dead Jim's Blue Bus, Blue Bus.
