Just hit the 50,000,000 mark....

...
Nice one, Dude. A half a billion.......what a stone.

Wouldn't be half a billion 500,000,000? (At least where you live, for me a billion is 1,000,000,000,000 ;-)

Oh really?

Yes, really. In most of Europe (for instance), a billion is 1e12 (1*10^12).

Damn you learn something new every day! I never would have thought there were 2 sets of scales used at one time and apparantly still do.

From Wikipedia: Many countries, including most in continental Europe, use the long scale. For most of the 19th and 20th centuries, the United Kingdom uniformly used the long scale,[2] while the United States of America used the short scale,[2] so that usage of the two systems was often referred to as British and American respectively. In 1974, the government of the UK abandoned the long scale, so that the UK now exclusively applies the short scale interpretation in mass media and official usage.

But it's thoughtful that other people than myself is watching my progress really.

Keep it up y'all..

Kind regards Vyper

I just breached 50,000 moments ago! WOOHOO! At this rate I will breach 100,000 before Christmas and will then be at all time personal high worldwide rank. YEAH!

Also if a few people don't like that people with CUDA graphic cards post in the 'original Milestone thread', I will continue to the time until the 'owner' (Siran d'Vel'nahr) of this thread will extend this thread rules. (If he will agree with them)

I wonder what the RAC (Recent Average Citizens) of SetiCity is?

Just passed 180,000 & 500 RAC.
Top 6 in my sign up stats, and Top 300 in my country.

Congratulations to all other crunchers!

I passed 200,000 combined BOINC yesterday. Also passed 20,000 for SIMAP/BOINCSIMAP yesterday.

Until a few weeks ago I was on target to hit 100,000 on SETI before the end of the year, but SIMAP has had a larger than usual workload this month. Also recently re-started crunching for SETI Beta.

Congrats keith. Keep on crunching. Its addictive. Just passed 2M on Collatz using my ATI GPU only. It's only taken me about 6 weeks of crunching to reach this milestone. recently hit my 7M overall on BOINC

Greetings Sutaru,

I have no intentions of imposing restriction on who can and cannot post in the Milestones thread. I created this thread for ALL to post their BOINC milestones.

I will be "releasing" (starting) v2.0.0 of the Milestones thread in a bit. I am thinking of not waiting until the limit of 300 posts (which I set as the limit per Milestones thread). I have removed several of the rules that no longer apply due to the evolution of the SETI message boards. The current rules were set for the "Wild West" attitude the boards had upon starting SETI/BOINC.

Stay tuned for the new and improved SETI/BOINC Milestones thread!

I will be reaching a milestone for SETI within a week. I will post the milestone then.

Keep on BOINCing...!
