Cilantro and Thing Two enjoy a quiet moment away from the kids. In this shot they are thinking about ordering cocktails - a Cosmopolitan for Thing Two and a Mai Tai for Cilantro.

Sad but true, the raccoons use our patio furniture more than we do!

If they are on the lounge, and you want to use it, do they disappear, or fight you for it?

They seem to have left one side open for occupancy! Perhaps they are aminable to relationships with us lower class types?

LOL That photo is wonderful, and how cute they are, they are really making themselves comfortable.

Can you blame them, I guess they thought that since you don't use that sun bed very much they just can use it instead.

They seem to be like cats, taking the opportunity to make themselves comfortable by occupying the best furnitures to rest on. :-D

Well I do like animals, My ancestors were farmers and such, At least on the paternal side of the family, The maternal side being from English nobility likes animals too, I just don't know too much about those families(almost nothing really).

Oh and You're welcome.

Whiff of mystery as skunk appears

Ozzy is settling in well in the animal sanctuary in Tewkesbury
A female skunk found wandering in the Forest of Dean has found a new home at a Tewkesbury wildlife sanctuary.

The centre's owner says it is a mystery why the young animal was in the forest - it might have been abandoned or could be one of a family of wild skunks.

Caroline Gould said the animal, usually found in North America, was only a few months old and was settling in well.

She said a number of skunks had been abandoned since a new law banned the removal of their scent glands.

The skunk's pungent scent is its defence against attack and can cause considerable distress to humans, producing nausea and temporary blindness, said Ms Gould, founder of Vale Wildlife Hospital and Rehabilitation Centre.

'Nasty bite'

"There could be a family of wild skunks," she said. "They could live quite well in the countryside.

Everyone here has fallen in love with her

Caroline Gould
"There have been reports of sightings of adults and young after some were released in the wild elsewhere.

"We are getting her used to humans, so she has no fear of them and will not spray her scent.

"She can also give a nasty bite."

The new addition is called Ozzy - loosely based on 'osme', the Greek word for smell - and is eating large quantities of vegetables, as well as a little meat and fruit.

"We've never dealt with a skunk before," Ms Gould added.

"She's really cute. Everyone here has fallen in love with her, but we don't know what will happen to her in the long term," she added.

The sanctuary has appealed for old newspapers and pet food to help with their skunk-rearing regime.
