Just come back with another failure. I thought I'd put both on here as they might narrow the bad batch down a bit. I've removed the guk so as I can get the details on one line, they all failed because the server rejected the file. 01mr04aa.18860.3056.247158.136_2_0 01mr04aa.18860.4018.897148.198_2_0 The first one was the one that failed earlier on. (mentioned in my last post) The second threw back a failure whilst I was writing the last post. Hence this message. Seems these two WUs are fairly closely related if you know what I mean. P.S: As I was in the process of writing the last post at the time, I wasn't watching to see if it ran on past completed or not. |

Most of my WUs are failing now too. On all machines. |

Seems to be a server problem and not a WU problem . . . cos different WU's are rejected . . . I just tested the upload and got 9 WU's rejected. Before I did that I did a backup of the whole BOINc folder . . . so now I put it back and continue the work where I stoped . . . if this is a Server problem than I'll get credit for 9 WU, if this is a WU bug than . . . well anyway. Since the processing is almost twice as lond I'll have enough to do for two Another two days. ____________________________________________ |

Well... After another look at this thread I've extracted all the "bad" WU references from reports posted here... Note however, how all the 14th March WUs that have failed have the first number as 17223. There are no duplicate entries in that list either! This leads me to suspect that dud WUs might be involved somewhere, even if we have a server problem compounding that issue. I'll add to this list if I get any more. Keep copying and pasting those BOINC messages here. Maybe it'll help the dev team sort the thing out. |

is it possible that boinc reports as "upload error" but uploads succesfully ? my last bad wu (if I remember correctly) seems to be uploaded succesfully. I could't check it very well because after getting two error messages I reduced the share of seti. Can you check it with your results? (since result pages are on) |

Siran, Sorry, I'm running BoincLogX v1.12, and I have never had that problem. I do remember reading that some other users have experienced it, but I don't remember the solution, if there was one. Try upgrading to v1.12, it's available from the "Download BOINC add-on software" page. BoincLogX v1.12 also shows LHC@home WU's in progress. > > @Anyone running BoincLogX v1.11. Now all in all 11 Wu's rejected, all 14mr04aa.xxxxx.xxxx.xxxxxx.xxx and I have another 9 WU from this series . . . . anyway. I uploaded them . . . . welllet them reject and now I'm downloading more. I found a way to have them all in BOINC . . . I'll put back the WU's and the result files to the folder . . . There won't be any problem, the only thing I can get is a message of duplicated files. ____________________________________________ |

OK Nova Paul.. It does seem like a BOINC CC error. OK. Will download. Another failure by the way. 01mr04aa.18860.5842.786080.144_0_0 Kinda sorta makes your mind up doesn't it. |

Apparently the server is rejecting anything from the 4.09 client. I had ZERO problems until this AM, when suddenly everything I tried to upload failed. A client upgrade seemed to take care of the problem...for now. Stewie: So, is there any tread left on the tires? Or at this point would it be like throwing a hot dog down a hallway?
