Today I want to play with my new camera, bought yesterday to catch the final day of the Canon £100 cash back promotion. I'll be trying to amaze you all with my improved photography, when I've worked out what all the buttons are for.

And thanks also to those who jumped to the conclusion that I did it while I was asleep, or have some urge to automate my postings. The only urge I have right now is to do whatever I want with what belongs to me, is owned by me, and is mine.

And not to do whatever anybody else wants. I am me and I will do as I please with my stuff.

No offense meant sir. I just thought that with as many threads you post piccies in, it would be neat to be able to add from a collection in a somewhat automated fashion. So I dreamt up that you may have done so. (I was jealous, yet again. :-))

No worries, but I don't care about any of that right now. My new Canon EOS 40D has arrived, and I'm off to play. I hope everyone else on these boards can have as much fun as me, and especially with no cares.

Are we any closer to finding out who did this? A reasonable person would feel that there would be a log of post deletions by whom & where & when. I've been a moderator on two boards. And the latest one has full records of deletions, edits, & the like.

This smells almost like an inside job. At least now that code has been fixed, & the self-serve delete has been re-instituted with the added benefit that the same thing won't happen in the future.

The lady would not want to give the satisfaction for that to occur, and I am sure the person concerned would not want to sell. He would want some form of power or control to let this happen.

I think it best to consider this .com Domain name to be his leased possession and leave it at that.

I'm not in favor of dredging up all this stuff again. I was just looking for a spot for me to wonder out loud. The point I was making is that the bumping of the threads shouldn't have occurred without administration realizing who bumped those threads to begin with. I was almost banned for something I didn't do. Alas.... I wouldn't have done it in the first place. Whoever heard of a place where such a thing could happen & the perpetrator not caught? Heck.... one of my threads was bumped too! Not that I cared.... but the person responsible was playing with me as well.
