Message 684000 - Posted: 25 Nov 2007, 1:05:59 UTC - in response to Message 683995.

I prefer Henry V

Once more unto the breach, dear friends, once more

"...And you, good yeoman,
Whose limbs were made in England, show us here
The mettle of your pasture:..."

On, on, you noblest English.
Whose blood is fet from fathers of war-proof!
Fathers that, like so many Alexanders,
Have in these parts from morn till even fought
And sheathed their swords for lack of argument

Yes I can see how that would stir the emotions of an Englishman even today.

I don't know but it's stirred my emotions.

But going back to the original concept of this thread, will anyone act on any of the suggestions made here? It woulds be a shame if all these voices went unheard.

They knew it a long time ago……….. what was needed… ;-)

Life rules for the Native Americans

“Treat The Earth and all that lives on it with respect.
Be close to the Holy Spirit.
Show respect for your co-creatures
Cooperate for the humans best
Give your help and kindness were its needed
Do what you know is right
Take care of both soul and body
Give some of your contribution for the benefit of community
Always be true and honest
Take the whole responsibility for your own actions.”

-said Den Great Spirit ( on Cherokee)
