Greetings.

Contrary to popular myth: Nowhere, in any episode, in any of the 3 original Star Trek series, did anyone ever say, "Beam me up, Scotty".

Sort of like all the one liners from Casablanca (best movie ever made). "Play it again, Sam" never once uttered.

Greetings,

Exactly! The "Beam me up, Scotty." phrase was probably first seen on a bumper sticker, created by some wannabe Star Trek fan. Of course, it is historically, incorrect. I seem to remember Kirk saying something like: "Scotty, beam me up." or "Scotty, beam us up."

"Brain and brain! What is brain?"

Said petulantly by a provocatively dressed woman of very limited intelligence who had recently performed a brain transplant in "Spock's Brain". Why do I remember that scene?

Tripod hotlinks usually don't work. Better to copy the image, Photobucket it, then link it.

What I'm saying is your link didn't work. All I see is a small Tripod logo graphic with the words "Image Hosted by" at the top.

Some places like Tripod use a referrer and block 3rd party websites from hotlinking. This can be solved by using the RefControl extension for FireFox. SET Default for sites not listed: <Block> (3rd Party)

Thanks Misfit. That works very nicely. (I normally don't quote an image from an adjacent post, but I will this time because I can see it now!)
