Profile: Graeme Stretton

Personal background
Don't really know what to say.

I'm retired after a very varied career. I've been involved in electronics, computer programming, printing machine and photocopier repair, PCB design, authored a couple of books, etc. etc. etc. The list is much longer.

My hobbies include but are not limited to ...

Gold mining, geophysics, small gauge tramways (7 1/4" and 24" gauge), computers, fishing, hunting, herpatoligy, gardening etc. (Another long list).

I live in central Victoria, south east corner of Australia. It's a 1.5 hour walk to the shops. LOL.

My home is a well insulated box on a concrete slab and considering the temperature here ranges from below 0C to over 40C, it is remarkably comfortable.

BTW My birth date is 12 Feb 1954.

Can't think of anything else right now, so that's your blooming lot.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
Why do I run SETI@home?
Simply because I know there is other life out there and I want to help find it.
Whether SETI@home can find it is unknown, but we have to try. Personally I doubt ET's are using EM to communicate, I would be using tunneling or something as yet unknown to us.

A fantastic attempt to find ET's. All success to you.

My only suggestion would be to redesign the graphics so they don't move.
Looking at the graphics gives me motion sickness.
