I've noticed that all the atrocities done by religious fanatics have been directed at destroying people of religion... I've also noticed that the non-religious are never attacked, yet they speak the loudest against religion... Figure that 'puzzle' out... BTW - It's all in the manual... ;) ID: 244765 · |

I've noticed that all the atrocities done by religious fanatics have been directed at destroying people of religion... As I recall half of the females in Europe were killed during the witch hunts, this includes even tiny little girls. As you suggest all of them practiced some form of religion, I find this hard to believe. Especially since the children in these matters had no say. Just what makes you think that there is ever any justification, for any atrocity weather it is commited in the name of religion against religion or otherwise? ID: 244801 · |

II Timothy 3 ;) Jeffrey, can I ask you to quit the Bible quoting? It's pretty annoying, and it gives some really bad flash-back's to a former troll here, who could recite endless Bible quotes in foot-long posts. I'm talking about really bad flash-backs here! :-( If you want to say something in context with the Bible, why not just refer to the text, so we can look it up ourselves, if we bother. And please remember, not all of us have English as our native language, so your quotes, I won't understand easily. I'd have to look it up in my own Bible anyway... But I can't make any deals with you, as I can't decide if others post offensive images, I'm Danish you know. ;-) But if you use Firefox, you can use Adblock to block the images, so you can't see them. Or you can report them to the mods as offensive, so they can remove the post in question. This is the solution I can suggest to you. But quoting endlessly from the Bible only makes you look like a WordWeaver clone, plus it gives me assciations to people, who can't express any original thoughts thought by themselves but have to use quotings. So instead of answering a post with a quote from the Bible, as you did just before in this thread, you can tell, what the quote says and then why you use it in the context? This would make it more interesting and personal. I'd rather discuss with a human being than with a maschine, which spews text after text. Just wondering...is that what you're hoping to do?...move them to start a God haters thread?...if you are hoping to reach people with the message of God...sometimes a whisper is louder than a scream...a gentle nudge is more forceful than a knockdown shove...there is a reason there are so many atheists these days...many have been driven away by the very ones who sought to bring them in...
