Well I did not make my goal of 20k, but hey not far from it. Looks like the team will get a christmas present though, we will break 130,000 by the end of christmas day. Thats 10,000 more than I expected us to hit.

I just broke my highest world SETI/BOINC position ever.

The old one was 891 on 10-7-2004.
The new is 890 on 12-25-2005.


I started SETI/BOINC when I first read that the new platform was ready for the general public. I moved up in rank for a little while. After lots of others started to sign up I gradually lost ground. I only started to gain again with the advent of the optimized clients. Another influx of new users had my gaining again almost flat-lined. I wigged out and added a couple of machines. That was working like gangbusters until SETI/Classic just shut down. Now I am almost running a flat-lined again. Still I squeaked by and broke my old record.

Finally made 20k, a couple days after christmas. Was not for a lack of trying though. Is ok, going to be adding more machines to drive the team score and my score higher. On to 30k I go.

20,575 on 27 December, only 2 days past what I had been shooting for.
