NO, sometimes we think about something to eat with our beer.

B.O.T.

My P4 is running about 50C, but it is only about 20C outside

Still looking for something profound or inspirational to place here.

I fear the upcomming summer. Although the CPU is at it's usual 60 degrees celsius, the case has increased from 26 to 31 degrees these hot days. And not so long ago I installed an extra fan that made it drop from 30 to 26. Unfortunately my room is cramped as it is, and I can't place the computer at a spot with more air around it (currently searching for a way to cool it more, but I'm afraid that's a lost cause - at least within my budget)

I haven't checked the room temp as I can guess it's getting pretty close to 30 degrees, except at night - during a normal summer it never gets below 30, even at night, so I pretty much hate summertime as I'm not so keen on anything beyond 22

It's close to 35°C inside the room, so I decided to leave the room.

OK, here are the stats from the pool: 21°C (water temperature)
Much better here!

.o0(how can I manage this damned notebook to be water resistant???)

I live for the most part in a comfortable 3 BD apartment,
with central air/heat. Most rooms in the apartment will stay
comfortable all year round with the exception of My Bedroom.
We keep the Thermostat set at 70°F most of the time. Since I use
Oxygyn at home, I have a concentrator that runs at night.
This machine alone causes a 20°F increase in Temp when it
runs. In the Winter time, we can leave our heat vents closed,
and in the Summer time, A large Fan is necessary to bring
cooler air in. Right now as I am writing, The Living room
temp is 71°F, this bedroom is 86°F and the machine has been
off for 2 hours.

celeron D temp 60c...room temp 70f

My Celeron D runs that exact same temp usually.

Room temp: 23°C (73°F)
CPU temp: 60°C (140°F)

Pretty cool for a Prescott actually ;)

Quite impressed with this little sucker to be honest. Who'd have thunk a Celeron could do a WU in under two hours? Thanks to Tetsuji and his optimized clients.

Hope everyone is having a nice weekend!
