Anyone else experiencing glacial like speeds on these forums at the moment? Rest of the site (non forum) loads ok, but any forum page takes between 30 seconds and over a minute to appear. :( |

I have noticed that a lot of the slow down is when links to outside sites are being accessed. That, however, is not the only thing I have seen. Rumor has it that it may be thier server. They will be migrating the database tomorrow. Hopefully that will speed things up to normal. All (or most) of the problems are to do with the servers and the database access.....they are going to update it all so that everything stops competing for access and it should run smoother. To be honest we all need to lay off a bit i mean i know its a bother but its not totally their fault and they are getting on with a solution....rather them than me at the end of the day! So good work i say and good luck to the solutions.....
AMD XP3200+ MY SITE! |

I haven't had my full 3 days worth of WUs in days. L8R.... --- My Time: Tuesday, 08 February 2005 - 09:51 PM --800 (Pacific Standard Time) CAPT Siran d'Vel'nahr - L L & P _\\// Winders 11 OS? Fora are fast again! They finally made it to the new server! So, if the validator is as fast as the fora now, we'll all get a big chunk of credit today ;-))) Gruesse vom Saenger For questions about Boinc look in the BOINC-Wiki |
