Thankfully warmer weather is on the way Admiral so it won't really be missed until next autumn. Anyhow seeing as it's now Monday I better think about going to bed. Cheers. |

Well I got my weeds sprayed just as a cloud cover arrived and though the mercury was telling me it was 16C (felt like 14C) it felt a lot hotter than that out in the sun. Anyhow I'm finally getting my 3rd and last coffee break in for the morning as a bunch of fellows make a racket on my roof. Cheers. |

I spent most of my weekend pulling weeds out of the water. People have been pushing hyacinths out of their docks rather than pulling them out. The result is they float into other people's docks. This reproduces so quickly that entire waterways can be blocked if not removed. It's a pretty flower but watch out if your boat ingests one into its cooling system. |

We also suffer from them over here. They were introduced as a garden pond decorative plant, but have escaped (or been released) into the wild and are a grade one pain in the furniture polisher on many of our inland waterways. Winning as those 32 solar panels on my roof charge up. Cheers. |

Well they're doing my part in going carbon neutral Martin. ;-) I'll be even better when the power company gets here to install the smart meter so that I can credit up the power that I'm providing to the system now (10-12days I was told for that to happen). Though it did take 60-90mins longer for the solar heating system to get downstairs up to 20C on this sunny morning with all those panels up there, but they should keep downstairs cooler during the upcoming summer. The mercury here kicked off at 5C (felt like 3C) with 21C being expected and ATM it's already 17C (feels like 14C). Cheers. |

Hey! Go for it!! I hope to be following with my own system soon-ish. However, I'm very sure the panels are not going to be romping up there of their own accord, neither Australian style or Hogwarts style! Must catch the last of this sunshine... Winning on a Hump Day morning as a thunderstorm passes by us making some noise. Anyhow it's time for a coffee as the sun is about to rise. Cheers. |

Well so far this morning we've managed to dodge 4 thunderstorm cells and now we're getting some sunshine. We got off to a 9C (felt like 8C) start here with 18C being expected and currently it's now at 13C (feels like 11C) as yet another noisy storm cell gives us a miss while blocking the sunshine out again. Oh well, I might as well have another coffee. Cheers. |

Well we did well here and avoided getting rained on so tomorrow I'll fire up the mower again and drop it a bit lower to tame this yard a bit more before things really start growing. Cheers. |
