Well the showers and sunrise happened at the same time here leaving another 1mm on an already soggy ground, though we should have some sunshine very shortly.

Now that the wheelie bin has been emptied again I can get back to cleaning up the last 2 piles of prunings that got left over from last Monday, but I don't think that I'll have the room in the bin to quite finish the job though. Oh well at least the last pile is well out of anyone's way if it gets left for another week.

Anyhow it's time for my last coffee break for the morning before I head over to the supermarket for 16kgs of sugar and a few others necessities. ;-)

OK... So...

The DEET certainly worked!

Keep it well away from all other animals... Hope there's no adverse effects upon Humans!

As for the Vitamin B (Brewers Yeast): Well, that stuff also certainly worked to add a little to the ambience, although for that location that little added extra wasn't noticed; No useful effect noticed against the mozzies although perhaps more/longer needed to notice anything else?


So, a useful test and good pause for thought afore I'm heading that way again...

And, ofcourse, we got rained on...

On my 2nd day of lockdown here I've just completed most of my Hump Day domestic duties (the laundry can wait for another day, or 2) and just in time for a quick LLB.

In other news, I WON the war with my Medicare Part D Insurance to cover
a, (normally), Part B drug wherein this drug is used 'Off Label' and though
it is a nebulizer drug, it is NOT being used in a nebulizer. Instead, I am
ingesting said drug to coat my esophagus to eliminate Eosinophylic
Esophagitis issues. The regularly used inhaler DOES NOT work for me.
The inhaler is commonly sprayed to the back of the throat and then
swallowed. I CANNOT seem to swallow the inhaler, so the nebulizer
drug is indicated for treatment.

Two vials of the nebulizer drug get dispensed into a glass, then 10
packets of Splenda are added, and just a SMALL amount of water to
make a slurry. Then you slowly drink/sip this cocktail down to coat
the esophagus. NO food or water can be ingested for 30 minutes
after treatment. (To make sure the drug fully coats the esophagus.)

Fun stuff.... Took TWO MONTHS to get the override approval to
force Part D to cover the nebulizer drug's cost. Copay excepted.

I just have to hurry up & wait for my next phone appointment with my Doctor which is once a month since that's when he's in town, yep I have what amounts to "the circuit MD".

I get to tell him I think I might have had covid-19 as I had a decent amount of the symptoms, of course I still can't go anywhere yet thanks to my toes, though they are getting better, probably in a week I can go to the Post Office and call and see if the office has a long haulers test yet.

If I did, the J&J shot helped, that and vitamin D3 in a 5000IU dose, having an O negative blood type from what I read from some studies didn't hurt, yep no antigens here.

In other news, I was able to move part of my bed frame over to the wall at the foot of the bed, next I need to get a bag out and bag a bunch of crushed 2L bottles and then move the cooler, move a chair, and clothes off of a hook and the bed spring can then be dragged to the bedroom where I should be able to put it in the bed frame. Turning the bed spring on end requires a decent amount of ceiling height which is not available in my bedroom.

Not long after do the same almost for the mattress before unbagging the mattress which has to expand for 48 hours before the bed can be made.

My bed seems to be my biggest project so far, of course it was done a little at a time when I had the energy.

In 2 days time Vic it'll be 1 year since I turned 7 old wooden bedposts (from my girls old double bunk setup), 3 lengths of 50mmx25mm RHS, 2 sheets of 15mm plywood, 1 small roll of 0.9mm gasless mig wire and modified 2 steel single bed head inserts (from same bunk setup along with all of its fastenings) into a queen size bed for my cool/cold climate bedroom. I was at least expecting to maybe having to tighten up some of those fastenings by now, but the whole thing is still as solid as a rock no matter what is happening to it (it's also a good idea not to walk into it, it hurts). :-)

I'm now just waiting for the sun to go over the yardarm (about 20-30mins to go for that to happen here yet) so that I can get back into cleaning up the last 2 piles of prunings at the back of the house that got left over from last Monday (it's still a bit too cool out there in the shade) seeing as the ground had dried up enough for some good footing again. Then I'll 2/3rds fill the wheelie bin again (got to leave some room for general garbage) and start cutting up some of next year's kindling.
