TL. Can you receive Bay Area - MeTV - KBCW (Over the air) 44.3?

Edit: Did some hunting and found that channel 68.1 is broadcast on channel 22. And 44.1 is broadcast on channel 28. So try adding 22 and 28 to your channel list. Can’t say it will help but it is worth a try.

3-13-2023 at 2:49 PM - PDT

Admiral,

44.1/28 is NOT offered/broadcast in my part of the East Bay. 68.2 and/or 68.4, (MeTV and MeTV+) IS broadcast from Mt. Allison in Novato, 27.6 Miles from me.

With the 'appropriate' OUTDOOR/Roof Mounted Antenna, I WOULD be able to EASILY pick up MeTV. HOWEVER; with being in an HOA, (A STRICT ONE),
I AM NOT allowed to mount a VISIBLE Outdoor Antenna on the roof of the house!

Due to the fact that I am QUITE limited to an INDOOR Amplified Digital OTA Antenna, I am, therefore, limited to the available channels that can be picked up.
The current Indoor Amplified Digital OTA Antenna I have purchased ONLY picks up 18 Local Channels; SEVERAL are immediate repeats of the Locals administered
by DISH Network over the Satellite DISH Antenna. (Installed at the back of the house, at the garage, North wall, facing Southwest to pick up Satellites 110, 119, & 129.)
Due to the DISH Network Satellite Dish Antenna NOT being visible to the street, the HOA CANNOT stop us from installing the Satellite Dish there. HOWEVER; this
location IS NOT conducive to a roof mounted OTA Antenna. A roof mounted OTA Antenna WOULD need to be mounted either at the East side of the home, or the
West side of the home. The East side of the home would be the garage, and would ONLY be one story high - MAYBE 25'-30', BUT is blocked by neighbors' trees AND
the surrounding, aforementioned, hills. Therefore, the ONLY productive place to install an outdoor OTA Antenna would be the West side of the home, on the second
story roof, about 40' above ground, BUT the neighbor to our West has HUGE Redwoods that would block the Westward view. AND, again, the surrounding hills. Plus,
again, the limitations of our HOA that prevent us from having an outdoor OTA Antenna VISIBLE by the street; which the East wall and West wall WOULD be.

So, as I'm finding out, the Indoor, Amplified, OTA Antenna is NOT powerful enough to pick up ALL the available OTA TV Broadcasts in my area. As mentioned in my
last Post, I'm going to have to contact DISH Network to see if they can add 68.2 and/or 68.4 to my DISH Network's Locals' lineup. THIS MAY be doable as they
already provide us 68.00 - KTLN, Heroes and Icons, (H&I), as a Local Channel. Outside of my area of CA, I'm told that Heroes and Icons, (H&I), via DISH Network is
Channel 293. (My brother, in IL, receives Channel 293 - H&I via DISH Network.) I WAS receiving Channel 247 - MeTV, (National MeTV), via DISH; UNTIL Weigel
Broadcasting CEASED doing business with DISH in December! (My brother WAS receiving, (locally), MeTV on Channel 20, (the IL Local Version of the Nationwide
Channel via DISH Network), UNTIL the contract dispute with Weigel started in December, and THEN started immediately receiving Local Channel 23 - MeTV via
DISH Network.)

I hope these details help explain my situation, and my, now, ONLY hope is to contact DISH and see if they can 'Flip a switch' and turn on KTLN - 68.2 and/or 68.4,
MeTV and/or MeTV+ via Local Channel prospects over the DISH Network's Satellite Antenna.

Is this the end of the "green screen"?

Virtual production studios are replacing green screens as world's largest opens in Melbourne.

This month, a new kind of film studio was unveiled in Melbourne.

Called a virtual production stage, it's a type of facility that has been dubbed the next big thing in film and TV.

The new one at Docklands is the largest in the world. Imagine a wall of LED screens three storeys high, as long as a soccer field.

This bank of screens is connected to powerful computers driven by gaming software, able to create high-resolution animated backdrops that respond to the perspective of the camera.

Inside this space, you can appear to be essentially anywhere....

Cheers.

[DISH Network Update:]

So, I FINALLY got through to DISH Network Customer Service! :-O A feat in and of itself, as they were hacked and the hackers, somehow,
took down their Call Centers, as well as being able to make changes, or even Login online. The hackers made their move after February 19th,
and DISH Agents were on this as of February 27th. ONLY in the last two to two and a half weeks were the phone systems restored to allow
incoming calls by customers. HOWEVER, NOT all the Call Centers were in play. So, hold times were OUTRAGEOUS, IF you could even get
into the Call Queue. As I said, I FINALLY got through today.

DISH has informed me that they are NOT holding out for a solution to the Weigel contract dispute, and that it looks like MeTV WILL NOT
be returning to DISH Network on National Channel 247. I asked if they could connect my services up to the Local Broadcast of KTLN, Sub-channel
68.2, and I was informed that they can only give me Local Channels already in the Local Programming that are contracted area by area. So,
as KTLN, Sub-Channel 68.2 IS NOT in the Local Broadcast Lineup, I will NOT be getting MeTV at all; UNLESS I subscribe to Frndly Streaming
Service for $6.99/Month and put that App on our ROKU Ultra 4K Device. According to the DISH Rep, Frndly WILL give me MeTV via streaming,
as well as other Local Channels NOT in the DISH Network Lineup.

So, THAT'S THAT! :'-(

The problem is not ME TV that doesn't want to budge but DISH not wanting to meet them half way on negotiation terms.

At least AT&T / DIRECTV negotiated with NEWSMAX and they will return to their lineups tomorrow after a month of negotiation.

It was never the same anyway once those young lads Clarkson, Hammond and May were sacked.

BBC axes Top Gear series after Freddie Flintoff hurt in accident.

Freddie should've stuck to cricket and cooking fish'n'chips.

Cheers.

Both.
Until recently Ribble Valley houses were quite cheap compared to the rest of the country, and in contrast house prices in the south east are obscenely high compared to the rest of the country. It doesn't take much of an upwards change (in terms of pounds) in the Ribble Valley for their prices to jump by a huge percentage, while in the south east a similar percentage drop is a huge amount in pounds.

(A few years ago I thought about buying a block of about twenty terrace houses in the Ribble valley, financed by selling or renting my place in the midlands.)

Go girl, well done.

Michelle Lee the first woman to row the Pacific Ocean solo, unassisted, after 237 days at sea.

An Australian has become the first woman to row solo across the Pacific Ocean unassisted and without stopping.

Sydney-based Michelle Lee was greeted by cheering friends and supporters as she rowed into Port Douglas in Far North Queensland on Wednesday morning, marking the end of a 14,000-kilometre, 237-day journey.

She crossed the paths of four cyclones and five hurricanes on her epic journey from Ensenada on the west coast of Mexico, with the marine life of the Pacific and a satellite phone her only company.

"When I was out there in the middle of nowhere, completely isolated, I was never lonely," Lee said.

Lee set off from Mexico in her 8-metre by 2-metre carbon fibre boat, The Australian Maid, on August 8, 2022....
Cheers.

A sinkhole said to be stable isn't anymore.

Texas Sinkhole Now Over 1,000 Feet Wide as Residents Prepare to Flee.

A massive sinkhole in a small Texas town is growing again after being stable for around 15 years, causing locals to fear for their safety.

The sinkhole, which first appeared in 2008 in the Liberty County town of Daisetta, around 55 miles northeast of Houston, started as a 20-foot hole and grew to be a massive crater around 900 feet across and 260 feet deep.

As the sinkhole grew, it swallowed anything in its path, including cars, telephone poles and oil tanks, the Dallas Morning News reported. It has gained around 150 feet in both width and depth since Sunday, when it started growing again, taking its width to over 1,000 feet.....

Thankfully I have an awful lot of granite underneath me.

Cheers.
