Trumps friend Roger Stone served with Capitol riot lawsuit during radio interview
The latest lawsuit filed against Stone was by seven Capitol police officers, who allege he was among those responsible for the deadly Jan. 6 Capitol riot. Other defendants include former President Trump, Rudy Giuliani and Alex Jones.
The suit, filed in August, accuses Stone of disseminating false claims of election fraud that ultimately led to the attack on the Capitol, as well as promoting and helping to fundraise for the "Stop the Steal" rally that preceded the attack.
"Trump's and his co-conspirators’ repeated cries of election fraud caused many of his supporters, including other Defendants, to plan to employ force, intimidation, and threats on his behalf to keep him in office, should he lose the election," the suit reads.
The officers are seeking punitive damages from the defendants, with the amount to be determined by a jury should it go to trial.
Stone was served just days before a Sept. 18 rally in D.C. meant to support the insurrectionists who attacked the Capitol in January. Law enforcement officials have ramped up security ahead of this event, re-erecting a seven-foot fence around the main Capitol building and installing high-tech security cameras for better view of the area.
Around 700 people are expected to be in attendance at the so-called "Justice for J6" rally.

Not too far away...

In a whole different world:

Canada election: Why it’s easier to vote in Canada than the US
wrote:
... While Americans are still embroiled in a bitter feud over voting rights and the outcome of the 2020 election, their neighbours to the north are hardly breaking a sweat as they head to the polls to vote in their country's general election on 20 September.

Things like widespread advanced voting, mail-in ballots, and federally-run elections seem to make it easier for Canadians to show up at the polls - voter turnout in Canada was higher (62%) than in the US (56%), according to data from Pew Research that looked at the 2016 presidential election and the 2019 Canadian federal election.

Here's a look at some of the ways it's easier to be a voter in Canada than the US...

In my personal view, the USA and USA politics really must leap ahead from the deadly silly old days of the Hollywood "Wild West". Those behind-the-times days really are over.

Time to make a new 22nd Century beginning?

Trump may have succeeded in decreasing GOP turnout.

Epik fail.

Huge hack reveals embarrassing details of Proud Boys, QAnon and other hate groups

Over 150 gigabytes of data, including user names, passwords and other identifying information of Epik’s customers.

For those investigating and researching extremist groups, you could say it is an embarrassment of riches.

Judge tells Trump deliver files more quickly, or else, an independent firm will be sent in to collect the files, at Trump's expense.

After wasting another $6 million on a 3rd audit of Maricopa County ballots cast in 2020's elections by Cyber Ninjas the result is basically that Biden won by a further 360 votes.

Five takeaways from Arizona's audit results.

I wonder if those crazy RINO's will try for a 4th audit.

But there's more bad news for Donny.

Biden won't invoke executive privilege to shield Trump White House records from Jan. 6 committee.

Officially published. 'Truth is truth': Trump dealt blow as Republican-led Arizona audit reaffirms Biden win
PHOENIX, Sept 24 20211:19 AM BST (Reuters) - Donald Trump lost the 2020 presidential election to Joe Biden in Arizona's most populous county, a review of results by his allies in the Republican Party has reaffirmed, capping a widely panned effort spurred by Trump's false claims of voter fraud.

Arizona Senate President Karen Fann, the Republican who paved the way for the so-called "full forensic audit" of 2.1 million ballots in Maricopa County, said the review's overall vote tally matched the initial results in November.

"Truth is truth, numbers are numbers," Fann said at a Senate hearing on the review, which found only small variations, yielding 99 additional votes for Biden and 261 fewer votes for Trump. "Those numbers were close, within a few hundred."

The conclusion will dismay Trump supporters who had pushed for the review, many in the expectation that it would prove his unfounded assertions that he was robbed of re-election due to orchestrated fraud. So far no such proof has been produced either by Trump or his backers.

Audit confirms that only the GOP conducts vote fraud.

From everything I read about, and I read from sources from all over the world, the GOP can't win by solid policy. They were silent when Trump lied and lied and lied, but pick apart everything Biden does. Then there is extreme gerrymandering, false claims of fraud, voter suppression laws, extreme hypocrisy, and disinformation. They just can't win on policy, so it has devolved into lying and cheating. I used to vote mostly Republican, but their policies don't solve the problems that we are facing, and they lie and cheat. It's true that Biden isn't perfect, but he is a far from being the liar and fraud that Trump has always been. I am looking for solutions to the problems that the exist now. Climate change, health care, education, immigration, prison reform, infrastructure, China, the middle east, Iran, and other problems. The world is not a simple thing. It is complex and diverse. I don't see that ignoring these problems will make them go away. It takes actual action, and for the rest of my life, I will vote for people who will actually fix these problems. I'm done ranting for the moment.

... How many EXTRA Votes went to SUPERJOkE with these DROP BOX Ballots FLOODING Every MailBox in My State of VA?

I could have VOTED 25 Times. One IN PERSON and 24 in da Drop Box.

And ALL of them would have been COUNTED. And they would have COUNTED...

That didn't happen.

With the ridiculous extent to how Trump has chased every fanciful chance possible, you can bet any such voting problems would have been widely exposed.

Yet... The Trump devotees have Trumped up with nothing. Nada. No evidence. Zilch.

All the rest of the Trump campfire stories are nothing more than Fake News stories.

Time for the USA to move on to a better world!

wow, confessin' to violating the laws about mail. Since those ballots, if they existed, were First Class Mail, the BIG rules apply. You can't toss it. You have to return it, "addressee unknown." Then the name comes off the registered voter list. Seems like conservative voters won't do this so they can keep doin' and claim'n fraud.
