Trying to relax while in pain, I took three 650mg 8hr acetaminophen pills, normally I'd take two and one 800mg Ibuprofen, but I'm out of the Ibuprofen prescription which I can't renew until Monday.

It's certainly a lot cooler here since the rain started a couple of days ago.

Yesterday I had to go shopping having run out of desirable food and (more important) drink. I tried several times during the day, but each time, by the time I got to my car it was precipitating prodigiously (other phrases may be applied). I eventually got out at about 19:00, but by the time I left the store it was just starting to precipitate prodigiously again. Needless to say I got very wet just loading my car :-(

You are more than welcome to the sort of rain we've just had - just make sure you haven't left any doors or windows open.......

I sent some feedback to Microsoft about the Firefox and Waterfox browsers and the Bing search engine, I mentioned that Bing was the default search engine and that there was no need of a bing search engine extension to be advocated on bing.com search pages, soon enough the bing link vanished and is no longer there, at least if you use Firefox or Waterfox, I use Waterfox.

Vic,

Be VERY careful with the quantity of use, AND the quantity of "mg" consumed of Acetaminophen/Tylenol, (or Vicodin), as Acetaminophen DOES NOT
work on Inflammatory Issues. ONLY NSAIDs work on Inflammatory conditions. IF; however, the pain is NOT Inflammatory in nature, then, (typically),
Acetaminophen is a good choice for pain management.

For the first few decades+ of my life, I COULD NOT take NSAIDs as I WAS allergic to Aspirin and anything related to Aspirin. About 5+ years ago, my
Allergist had me "Desensitized" to Aspirin AND THEN put me on an Aspirin regimen of 2 325mg Tablets of Aspirin DAILY. This was to keep Nasal
Polyps from forming in my Sinuses. In addition, I could also, then, take other NSAIDs for Inflammatory conditions PLUS my daily Aspirin.

Aleve seems to work best for my Inflammatory situations. Advil is next. I still take Tylenol for fevers and other pain Issues that are NOT Inflammatory
related.

Just wanted to pass this on so that you don't "over medicate" with Acetaminophen. Acetaminophen, (I'm sure you're aware), is HARD on the Liver and
in HIGH doses or "over medicated" situations can DAMAGE the Liver.

Good Luck, and God Bless,

TL

Noted TL, I've done this before and only when there was no other choice.

Winning as I take a break from getting the other backdoor awning/porch up and ready for the battens to be welded to the supports.

Cheers.

@TL and @Vic. Be very careful with NSAIDS. Many of them can/do cause kidney damage. As long as your doc is doing regular blood kidney function tests you are okay.

Lately I've been sleeping on the sofa to get away from the pain, when I'm awake the pain was good enough to keep Me from walking quickly, like I was walking thru wet sand, a few minutes ago this eased some.

Gary,

Thanks for that. Yes, I'm aware that HIGH doses of NSAIDs CAN cause Kidney damage. When I take Aleve, or Advil I ONLY
take 2 a day. The Aleve states that 2 pills last 12 Hours, so that gets me through MOST Issues. It's been REALLY nice to be
able to have MORE options than Tylenol, NOW that I'm Desensitized to Aspirin and NSAIDs.

[EDIT:] AND, due to the NUMEROUS Prescription Meds that I'm on, I flush my System with 3 64-Oz Mugs of Ice Water DAILY!
