I know of one piece of vacant land near Me, it even has a fwy going past it, one would need $75,000 for 22.01 acres...
I could put My home on it, of course the cost of tear down, moving and setup is between $5,000-$10,000 and I don't have access to that type of cash.
It would need to be rezoned from AG to RL, plus it's on a paged(paved) road too... Drat.

I would not invest there. No market.

If My 87yr old cousin leaves Me enough, I could have a small solar farm and/or an electronic billboard similar to one below on a piece of land, there is a fwy here.

If anyone it thinking of building a solar plant you need to know that building a solar farms is ez. It's transmission lines and getting a Power Purchase Agreement that are the hard part. Remember California has excess capacity now. During summer we had to pay Arizona to take some of our power. What the utilities want is storage capacity.
Winning on a windy morning.

I'm rather fortunate then, the lines near this one piece of vacant desert land have electric distribution lines and cable out in the street and several electric transmission lines about a mile or two away.

A water well and septic system would have to be installed, plus a concrete foundation where the county mentioned 24" deep which is more substantial than the one that I have now, plus a car port and concrete for any steps, walkways and a driveway, fencing already surrounds the property though an inner fence and gates would not hurt. Electrical and cable would have to be on poles or in a trench, plus a 200Amp stub and panel upgrade would be needed, poles I've been told can be $15,000 each, though I'd hope that the poles aren't that much. The park has underground lines and such.

Venus rotates backwards and its orbit about the sun is shorter than a day there.

a day there lasts a little more than 243 Earth-days, actually making it longer than a Venusian year, which is only about 224 Earth-days long.

Anyone have a place to store a few million barrels of oil?
US oil producers are paying as much as $$37.63 a barrel to get rid of their production.

An Antarctic temperate rain forest, temps were 62-66F 90 mya. Part of which is ice free to this day in New Zealand & maybe in Tasmania.
