This is Jeff's (Monday) son, i would like to just let those on SETI who were friends of him know that he passed away last week 16th of march peacefully in his sleep, thank you to those who befriended him, talked to him and shared funny images with him.
He was always showing family things from SETI, he really loved this program/website and was very proud to be able to contribute to the search for great things that had not been discovered yet.
I hope to be able to keep his profile active to continue crunching units in his honor but now Monday wont be here to talk and interact in the forums.

I am not very familiar with the forums and how to use this program but I hope that creating this new thread is the right thing to let those of you who knew Monday know about his passing.
Again thank you to this program that always kept my dad happy and entertained, also thank you to all his friends on here for being apart of his life in your own way.

Your father's post will be missed by a lot of folks who have never actually met him.
Loosing a friend is one thing, but loosing one's father is something else, far deeper.

There is no conclusive evidence of life after death. But there is no evidence of any sort against it. Soon enough you will know. So why fret about it?

Monday has always been such a great part of out Setizen life.

He was also part of the same cross-project team as me: TFFE (The Final Front Ear.)

I shall be updating the team soon as he was well loved.

Wishing your family hope and warmth at this sad time Vincent.

Keep in touch and keep crunching. If not for SETI then for any of the other projects out there.

If you need help figuring out how things work around here then just ask someone on your Dad's friend list or in one of the forum sections here.

I'm so sorry to hear you've lost your dad, Vincent, and that we've lost our Monday :(

My deepest condolences to you and your family, and to all his friends and loved ones.

My first chat with Jeff came after I'd got a bit rude about Mondays. There I was, still quite new to the boards, and waxing lyrically about wanting them removed from the calendar entirely - and up he popped... :))
