If COVID 19 has the same mortality number, or more. Add at least 12,469 to the seasonal flu number of 22,000 - 55,000

There is one thing to consider, and that is hospital resources. We are still within this winters flu season and the hospital staff and beds allocated for dealing with flu and other virus's, are probably at about 70% occupancy. This leaves very few beds available for dealing with covid-19 as well.
So if an area becomes a hot spot for corvid-19 there could be a shortage of beds and the expert staff to deal with it, meaning more deaths all round.

2017/18 flu season by itself overwhelmed the 902,202 staffed hospital beds available in the US.
