Plus, with my Exxon Card, I get back $0.06/Gal deducted from the bill. :-)

I usually get about 30 or 40 cents off per gallon with my Kroger grocery store card when I buy Kroger gas.

Food4Less only gives 10 cents a gallon here and F4L is owned by Kroger, still My car might be old and rattling in reverse,
but it does get 37.33mpg the way I've equipped the car at least, not bad for a soon to be 20yr old car, stock would be 25mpg.

Is ethanol bad for my car? I don't really have a choice, but I know Kentucky puts it in the gas.

How old is your car, AFAIK newer ones are made to deal with it, older ones not so much.

Both should be OK with ethanol in the gas

Seems like gas should be cheaper here if they're diluting it like that. I'll have to catch a price later today.

Ethanol is just a costly farm subsidy, and growing the corn produces more greenhouse gases than it reduces. Overall a good idea that doesn't work out.

The reduction in power & fuel economy when alcohol s added to fuel is such that it works out that Petrol (US Gas) with alcohol in it needs to be at least 4c/l cheaper than regular Petrol in order to be worth using (probably closer to 6c/l these days- that review was done when petrol was less than $1.00 a litre).

Went to the local supermarket and got a surprise at their gas station prices. $2.12 for premium unleaded! Needless to say I topped off my tank with a few gallons.

Due to the change to "Winter Blend" in California, Gas Prices have dropped to $3.59/Gal for Regular at the Exxon in San Ramon. Everyone else is $3.79/Gal.

Food4Less, Valero, USA Gasoline, Mobil are down to $3.15 per gallon for 87, I'd need $24 to get that $0.10 discount per gallon at Fuel4Less, I'll wait until I drive again.

TL, I paid $2.899 for regular at Costco Azusa on Sunday. Not including the business member and costco credit card rebates.

Just added some more gas to my tank this evening and paid $1.839 / Gallon at my corner gas station here in the South suburbs of Fort Worth TX.

Looking at the Fort Worth Gas Buddy web site I see gas for $1.759 at Costco in SW Forth Worth and $1.659 at a Buc-ee’s in Denton TX - about 38 miles north of Fort Worth.
