G'morning everyone, from a not so smokey start in the highlands down under. After a cool week here my beer brew is finally ready to bottle up and the water is now being brought to the boil so that I can sterilise the bottles for the amber liquid to go into. Cheers. |

G'day everyone, from a warm, dusty, windy, but so far sunny day in the highlands down under. Well everything's ready now for a handful or so of us to enjoy another Sunday "Beer'n'BBQ" downstairs in the shed (out of the wind and dust), though the wood heater will not be needed this time as the shed's solar heating system (ceiling fan + sun on steel roof) has it at a nice 27C down there so far, so now I can relax over a quiet cold beer (or 2) before they start arriving. Anyhow, I hope that you all enjoy the weekend. Cheers. |

Oktoberfest has started in Munich. They say prices have risen and now a "Mass" glass costs 11 euros. But I don't know how much beer that is. Tullio |

G'morning everyone, from another cool, dark and gloomy day in the highlands down under. Well the brewroom is warming up for a hard day at the office and the fire downstairs is going so I'm going to be very comfortable in here today as I slave away making Holy water. ;-) Cheers. |

G'day everyone, from a mostly sunny Sunday morning in the highlands down under. It was a cold'n'damp day here yesterday so I fired up the brewroom and put down a 50L spirit wash (that kept the back rooms of the shed nice and warm), so I've just sealed it up and the airlock is going off like a machine gun ATM (I'll have to top that back up tomorrow). I've also got everything ready for another Sunday "Beer'n'BBQ" session so I can now take a short break and watch the start of "The Great Race" (The Bathurst 1000 for those who don't know) before the crew start turning up. Cheers. |

Had some of this fine brew. 9.7% ABV. https://www.beeradvocate.com/beer/profile/42/3457/ Nice flavor. Something to sip and enjoy, not for chug-a-lug! Like my local water hole, 28 taps, only 1 that has a popular swill. Yes, they have the domestic swill, but bottles for that. The taps are for real micro-brews, so when the keg runs out, something else replaces it. |

G'day everyone, from a warm and smokey day in the highlands down under. Well it's been 1 of them days where for the last 2hrs I've been trying to make up my mind whether to have something to eat or having a few beers. The beers have finally won. ;-) Cheers. |

Now that I've finished spraying and mowing the yard I reckon that it's time to cool down over a beer or 4 (and I finished in time for LLB). ;-) Cheers. |

After a busy day and being clean again I reckon that I can send the rest of the afternoon here over a few beers. ;-) Cheers. |

After spending this week clearing, dusting, washing bed linen (with all this wet stuff falling around here the bed linen maybe out on the line for a few more days yet) and vacuuming out the house it's finally ready for the mop and wash down process and I'm ready to relax over a few beers for the rest of this wet afternoon. Cheers. |

Well it's almost that time of the year again to get my brewroom back into producing more alcoholic beverages. Cheers. |
