They did a month ago and provided results. But I don't think they are currently running any Corona virus campaigns.

Well, the claim is "Travel is broadening" so maybe trying out a different distributed processing system is too?

What is the best site to monitor the total work unit processing on the SETI project? I'm curious to see if people have already started shifting CPU and GPUs to other projects or if they're working until the end.

BOINCStats has a graphic view of total active hosts / users, etc at https://www.boincstats.com/stats/0/project/detail/host.

It appears the active totals are dropping daily!

So more work for the rest of us.

Edit- actually looking at the number of active users, there has been a big jump, starting from the 14/02/2020

Don't abort them.
Use Tools, Retry Pending transfers every now & then to give them a nudge to download.

Aborting them will reduce your cache limit as they will count against you as errors and giving stuck down/up loads a nudge is a way better alternative. ;-)

Cheers.

I am wondering whether or not it will be midnight Berkely time or midnight UTC time when the work stops flowing on 31 March. If it is Berkely time that will mean it's 8 PM New Zealand time Berkely is 4 hours in front of me but a day behind?

Doubt it will be anything that coordinated or precise.
More likely, at some point around the 31st Berkeley time there will be no more tapes loaded for splitting. When the splitters are finished with what they have that will be the end of new work. Probably the site will remain up, accepting uploads and doing re-sends where needed, for quite some time if they decide to keep it running to allow work to be completed and reported. That could take a few months.
Just a guess, but I think a good one.

Given the length of some of the deadlines (3 months and 1 week), no less than 9 months to clear everything if they don't change the deadlines for resends.

Possibly a bad driver. See the sticky threads at the top of the forum. There's one problem with NVidia, a different one for AMD. Provide information.

Have you tried switching it off and back on again?

Why am I getting lots of GPU workunits marked "postphoned, and the computer goes round in circles? Only cure is to abort them as they occur.

Can't tell why, as your computers are hidden, but on NVidia normally that's a crashed driver or communication failure to the GPU that would be resolved by a cold boot.
Check the BOINC log, it should tell the story.

The driver is Nvidia win 10-64 441.12 ...
That fits the description of NVidia 436.xx and later drivers ...

Get a new driver, from NVidia. 442.19 and 442.50 have both been reported good (NVidia have actively fixed the problem), but they haven't reached Microsoft yet.

Wondering what's good for Linux these days. Running various flavors of 440 here, and haven't really seen any issues. Can't seem to recall, was this driver issue a Win-only thing?
