Perhaps you should be in the position of reading some resumes to see what is out there today looking for work.

Job Ad: "Please send resume with work experience and skills"
Applicant: "I'm the best, hire me."
Applicant: "Blurry phone camera picture of printout." (At least it looks like it might be a resume.)
Applicant: "Resume template with default text."

Job: Landscaping
Applicant: "I've got a valid food handler card."
Applicant: "Musician, Photoshop skills"
Applicant: "List of air conditioned desk jobs worked"
Applicant: "Uber and Lift driver."

Job: Entry Level
Applicant: "I have a Masters degree in marketing."
Applicant: "XX-Current General Manager at XYZ Co."
Applicant: "List of 10 prior jobs." None with more than a months length.
Applicant: "Don't bother unless it pays $20/hr"


It isn't pretty out there. It is rather obvious why US employers must import workers. The bottom of the barrel really stinks!
What happened to our educational system? How did we ever let the best out of the system so the rest fell through the floor? Did some fool invent vouchers or charters or some such nonsense?

Care to compare the number of jobs created in the 8 years prior to 2017 by quality of employment? i.e. starting wage, benefits, skill level, future advancement possibilities, etc. etc. etc.......

.....or by sector? i.e. Burger flippers vs Welders. Maids vs Manufacturing, Part time vs full time(which would also be a result of eliminating Obamacare requirements)...........

I commented only on unfettered capitalism.
As far as state control of industries, some should be state controlled, such as fire departments, public safety, others should not such as manufacturing, agriculture, and finance. That does not mean the state shouldn't have controls over them. I want safety, environmental standards and enforcement of those standards.
If you view that is worse than unfettered capitalism then we strongly disagree as is common.

Do bear in mind that the same old question along with the stale mantra "The old order is ending" is because with all his knowledge & experience, he cannot offer an answer to said questions. Should he attempt to do so, he knows that their replacements will be no better.

Therefore the only remaining question is: Why ask those questions?

That will actually occur once you have a leader to be proud of & also when you actually answer questions without your constant asinine repetitions. 1 will definitely occur sometime in the near future, but the 2nd? Alas not in this project's lifetime. :-)
