I'm willing to wager that now Trump has bowed to pressure and issued another Imperial Fiat, the urgency to solve, rather than ignore, the immigration issue and it's many facets(chain migration, border security, DACA and merit based immigration) will evaporate. ON BOTH SIDES.

The Dims will again refuse to negotiate any reasonable plan if it gives Trump ANYTHING that might be construed as a win. It's back to

and the feet of Congress have once again been removed from the fire and allowed to shirk their jobs and sit on their fat asses.

The 'Dreamers' will continue to be ignored, the flood of Illegals will increase, Pontiffs will continue to pontificate, and things will not change.

As to limiting the discussion to posters who actually contribute worthwhile thought, I will suggest again the use of the block feature, it saves a lot of time by eliminating chaff and rude noises. An added feature is the freedom from responding to personal attacks and their attendant BS because if they are hidden from their intended target the intended effect of the attack is eliminated.

That old adage 'ignore them and they will lose interest' is very true.
