As always your insight is amazing, maybe.

A typical fence sitter is more like it and why he can't add something positive to any discussion, but his fence is several fences over to the right of mine.

The Marist Poll...........from the other side of the fence.
http://www.breitbart.com/big-government/2012/10/23/marist-poll-heavily-slanted-boss/
"Lee Miringoff, who runs the Marist Poll that reliably rates Barack Obama much higher than seems reasonable and thus tilts the Real Clear Politics average back toward Obama, is clearly on one side of the political fence – the liberal one."

Going to your link the .PDF states the poll was of 1,026 adults........out of 250 Million?

Come on.............you really want to hang your hat on that small a sampling?

As has been said repeatedly "all will be known on the 2nd Tuesday of November...."

And maybe Nancy's next job will BE mowing that grass on the border.

Think you need to educate yourself on polls. Most sample sizes are between 1 and 2 thousand, So the Marist poll was within the normal bounds.
The poll which stands out if you want a large sample size is Survey Monkey with >14k, but its results are in line with Marist, support 42%, dislike 56%.

And just so you know, I would struggle to believe Breitbart even if they said 2 + 2 = 4.

Some people will always pull alternate facts from somewhere that suits their beliefs without even checking the validity of that source (alt-far right in this case).

No wonder the Russians had such fun with these people and are still laughing their guts out today over it. LOL

Trump the Genius says security clearance process is actually too rigorous
He says the system is "broken" -- because his officials aren't getting clearances fast enough.
https://thinkprogress.org/trump-security-clearance-933e7031c184/
Ok. Trump trust his son-in-law Jared Kushner. But does that mean that Jared could be trusted by the US Intelligence Community as well?
Then we have his two sons Eric and Donald Jr.
Trump consulted with them about whether to act on gun reforms last weekend at Mar-a-Lago.

Then Ivanka...
My daughter, Ivanka, just arrived in South Korea. We cannot have a better, or smarter, person representing our country.
Ivanka's potential meeting with Kim Jong Un's sister, Kim Yo Jong is still being reported as a possibility.

I suggest you do the math and see how big a random sample you need out of 250 Million.

The trap door is starting to move
Former Trump campaign chief Paul Manafort was hit with new charges on Friday, including an allegation he secretly recruited and funded a group of former European politicians to lobby in the United States on behalf of Ukraine.

The superseding indictment was filed just a couple of hours after Manafort's business partner, former campaign aide Rick Gates, pleaded guilty to conspiracy and lying to investigators

Paul Manafort is certainly involved in the collusion with Russia.
After the 2014 revolution that forced out Russian-backed Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych, President Donald Trump's former campaign chairman Paul Manafort played a key role in reorganizing Yanukovych's pro-Russian party.
The new party won seats in Ukraine's parliament after Manafort personally approved their list of candidates.
Manafort remained in contact with a political operative in Ukraine who helped him promote the new party through the Trump campaign.

That Trump didn't know about his doings is not possible.

For a slightly simpler problem, of a similar type, see the "Birthday Problem" which calculates the minimum random population in a room that has the same Birthday.

I think the Birthday Problem is much more akin to the random chance that two wing nutz will come up with the same or very similar conspiracy theory.

Perfect human liberty is possible only to a despot who is absolutely and universally obeyed. Then to will would be to command and achieve, and within the limits of natural law we could at any moment do exactly as it pleased us to do. All other liberty is a compromise between our own freedom of will and the wills of those with whom we come in contact. In an organised state each one of us has a more or less elaborate code of what he may do to others and to himself, and what others may do to him. He limits others by his rights, and is limited by the rights of others, and by considerations affecting the welfare of the community as a whole.

Individual liberty in a community is not, as mathematicians would say, always of the same sign. To ignore this is the essential fallacy of the cult called Individualism. But in truth, a general prohibition in a state may increase the sum of liberty, and a general permission may diminish it. It does not follow, as these people would have us believe, that a man is more free where there is least law and more restricted where there is most law. A socialism or a communism is not necessarily a slavery, and there is no freedom under Anarchy. Consider how much liberty we gain by the loss of the common liberty to kill. Thereby one may go to and fro in all the ordered parts of the earth, unencumbered by arms or armour, free of the fear of playful poison, whimsical barbers, or hotel trap-doors. Indeed, it means freedom from a thousand fears and precautions. Suppose there existed even the limited freedom to kill in vendetta, and think what would happen in our suburbs. Consider the inconvenience of two households in a modern suburb estranged and provided with modern weapons of precision, the inconvenience not only to each other, but to the neutral pedestrian, the practical loss of freedoms all about them. The butcher, if he came at all, would have to come round in an armoured cart....

It follows, therefore, in a modern Utopia, which finds the final hope of the world in the evolving interplay of unique individualities, that the State will have effectually chipped away just all those spendthrift liberties that waste liberty, and not one liberty more, and so have attained the maximum general freedom.

There are two distinct and contrasting methods of limiting liberty; the first is Prohibition, “thou shalt not,” and the second Command, “thou shalt.” There is, however, a sort of prohibition that takes the form of a conditional command, and this one needs to bear in mind. It says if you do so-and-so, you must also do so-and-so; if, for example, you go to sea with men you employ, you must go in a seaworthy vessel. But the pure command is unconditional; it says, whatever you have done or are doing or want to do, you are to do this, as when the social system, working through the base necessities of base parents and bad laws, sends a child of thirteen into a factory. Prohibition takes one definite thing from the indefinite liberty of a man, but it still leaves him an unbounded choice of actions. He remains free, and you have merely taken a bucketful from the sea of his freedom. But compulsion destroys freedom altogether. In this Utopia of ours there may be many prohibitions, but no indirect compulsions— if one may so contrive it— and few or no commands. As far as I see it now, in this present discussion, I think, indeed, there should be no positive compulsions at all in Utopia, at any rate for the adult Utopian— unless they fall upon him as penalties incurred.

Memo's out.

Read the entire memo.

The previous Republican one stated...

That the witch hunt was started because of the Steele memo...

This Democrat one disagrees.

Because it shows the witch hunt started long before the Steele memo was even started...

It appears, at this time, to be just Political Theater by both sides.

The only Political Theater I saw was the distortion of the time line by the republican statement.

What else is new?

Nothing, just another case where Trump supporters will do anything to protect their Idol.

Nothing, just another case where Trump supporters will do anything to protect their Idol.
And where Trump trashers take another 'howl at the sky'.............the poor babies really DO need therapy.

Here's a FACT the GOP has out raised the DIM by many millions of dollars in the last year {with a large portion being from small donors}. They now have a RECORD amount on hand for November. If you want a poll try the one of 'money where your mouth is'. It seems the GOP mouths are ponying up big time.

http://dailycaller.com/2018/01/09/heres-how-much-dems-gop-have-so-far-raised-for-the-2018-elections/

And now with the hue and cry being raised against gun ownership the GOP has another ideological rallying point for firearms owners and manufacturers and their employees.

Gun ownership by various estimates is around 100 million adults, that's a very big voting block if encouraged properly. The NRA may be in somewhat disfavor due to their intractable stand on some issues but support for the 2nd Amendment is still very strong.

What do most people think the second gives? The right to own nukes? The right to own tanks? The right to own surface to air missiles? The right to own machine guns? The right to own bump stocks? The right to own a single flintlock?

Now I have to ask, why is it necessary to raise so many $'s so that 1 might win an election and where does all those $'s go?

Quite frankly I can't see the sense in it when it doesn't cut your deficit down any.

[edit] Or is it just $'s for favours?
