Message 1903693 - Posted: 29 Nov 2017, 23:43:12 UTC

When I go by a cooking gadgets store, or I receive a cooking gadgets catalog in the mail, I like to "window-shop". There are many things in those stores it would be fun to have. In actuality, I wouldn't buy most of them because I don't have the storage space, or I would use them so infrequently that they would not be worth the money. But still, it is fun to "window shop", and I am almost powerless to stop doing it.

Eric never berates me for window-shopping.

Eric never insults me for window-shopping.

Eric never makes snarky comments about my window-shopping.

Eric never derides me for window-shopping.

Eric never belittles me for window-shopping.

Eric never talks over me, as if I were not there, when I am window-shopping.

I am so grateful that Eric is so kind. People like Eric make the world a better place.

Is it possible that one so very skilled at finding buttons to push is having difficulty finding an ignore button?

Take some yapping responsibility for your own irritation.

@Chris. Seriously my friend, and I do consider you to be a real friend', It's" the internet" and if it's bothering you so much why dont you try something else to comit your time too like I did. I bought a Playstation 4 and a Halo game. I love Halo and I especially love the movie Forward unto Dawn. But then if you discover as I did that you have absolutely no hand -eye coordination and cant get past the first level then subscibe to Netflix. My PS4 is not a total waste though because it also plays Blueray discs and 3D Bluerays on my 50 inch telly.
Seriously my friend "How important is it?"

edits = spelling and shit.

Nice set up there.

Ours sits at counter height on a cart with wheels/trucks so we can move it around. Sitting up straight puts our eyes about center of screen.

That's not a good situation - it sounds as if you blacked out for a few seconds. Now that could simply be due to the combination of a sudden temporary change in blood pressure due to the combination of coughing, nose blowing and trying to catch your breath, which is not an uncommon event and nothing to be worried about. But it could be a sign of something else more significant, so next time you see your doctor talk to him about it. Obviously if you have more such events - which I hope you don't - you need to talk to him sooner than later

That should give you an idea if it being a "once off" or "repeating" event.

From one of your earlier posts:
I just installed the board, I'm beat, after only 6 screws, I still have a new IR cable to install, tomorrow...

Being "beat" after doing only 6 screws? This really concerns me, you should be able to do six small screws without getting exhausted. When did you last have a "spirograph" test to see how well your lungs are working? If not in the last few weeks then its about time your doctor did one as this rapid exhaustion could be related to your recent collapse - normal coughs and colds rarely last more than a couple of weeks, and yours has been dragging on for the best part of a couple of months. It could be that your long term asthma has progressed into COPD (Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease) - a transition that can be triggered by any number of things such as illness (chronic or otherwise), stress, weight.... Or it might be that your asthma has become "immune" to the control drugs (inhalers, tablets whatever) you are taking so you are due a review to make sure everything is as it should be on that front.

All I am going to say it that if one's breathing is impaired, having to support a lot of extra body mass is certainly going to make the situation worse.
People don't generally go into a faint from a sneezing or coughing attack.
