You could sell it to help finance much needed car repairs, or you could keep it, watch blue ray videos and game. Your choice, be a gamer or survive.

Or I can do both, it's not impossible.

First My car, then a month later the plumbing, then the electrical.

And the Xbox One X is already unsealed, so it would be used, I'm still working on the aquarium, I've been told it looks like new.

I'm thinking of buying this Slime on Feb1st(Jan 31st), then I can drive to Barstow one last time on that tire, at least once I reattach the 3 lugs I took off, with tax and shipping it's $15.59 for 32oz, if PepBoys on ebay doesn't charge 6.5% tax on $5.00 shipping that is, it'll come by FedEx right to My place, and I can forget about the spacers, which didn't cost Me anything. I can't do a thing about it right now. But then I didn't think about this earlier.

I doubt that would work for your destroyed tires.

It's actually a tire, not tires, which did hold air long enough to go about 100', how long did it take for the air to leak out after someone here in the park reinflated the tire?

I have no idea, as I didn't think the tire would hold air for long.

The tire is not destroyed, just leaky and almost at the end of being useful.

The spare tire is just on the wrong rim, one for a Hyundai, not one for a Ford or Saturn, the right rim for the spare will be here on the 15th via UPS.

What's stopping Me from going to Barstow with the front right rim and getting the new tire mounted and balanced?

Money, I'd need $100 for that and getting an alignment done, and that does not include changing the spare tire to a new rim $19 I was told, nor $6 for gasoline(2 gallons here), and I remember when the strut had the paint rubbed off, it's when that nankang tire blew on the fwy, I was doing 65, I did shred that tire, others I read had problems with Nankang tires, I also replaced those 3 nankangs cause of the rough ride, the tire that blew was fine at or below 70mph, go above that and the car would vibrate, I put a new tire on there, and the vibration went away.

Plus I'd need a ride into Barstow, a friend here would do that, but He's only available on the weekend.

But I'll wait.

Is the tyre you are taking about "sliming" the one with the inside edge worn down so that the steel wires are showing??

My bad - it is one of your older tyres, so is it the "emergency spare"?

In case anyone is looking for new 1060, 1070, 1070 Ti, 1080 or whatever in the Nvidia line, I read prices are being pushed up by Miners,
Tweaktown mentioned this in Sept 2017, prices and availability are crazy. That and there is a ram chip shortage too.

I mean 1060's in blower form are going for near or above $500.00, the article says this mainly is for 1060 and 1070 cards, even Nvidia is out of 1060 FE's, 1070's are even worse, they can go as high as $1,299.00, $1,299.00, that's insane.

Oh, great - I'll load a few into my case at £250, hop over to your side of the pond and flog 'em for $500....
Not often prices work that way round - normally we are paying £1=$1 on the price tag.

No it's the one with the steel wires. 1 trip would be as much as It would do, maybe, I should take a pic of it, the sidewalls are ok.

The spare is just on an incompatible rim, one for a Hyundai.

Don't even think about it - If the wires are showing and it's leaking air at that rate then then inner rubber is shot to bits and slime will only make a horrid mess all over the place and not stop the air getting out. Also the structure of the tyre has been compromised, there is a fair chance that the tread may split away from the sidewall :-(

(Beside that, tyre fitter hate slime with a passion beyond belief - it makes a real mess on the inside of the rim that has to be scraped off before it can be scrubbed off before they can fit the new tyre - in the worst case they may write the rim off, which is most certainly not what you or I want to happen)

Ok, consider the slime deleted, writing off a rim is not good, an aluminum Ford rim especially.

A thought - does the tyre fitter place work Saturday morning, in which case why not get your friend to give lift there with the various bits and get the new tyre mounted on the new rim.....

Yes they do, it'll have to be on the 3rd, which is a Saturday. And yes that was sort of the plan.

The new rim and tire aren't for each other.

If I put the new tire on the new rim, then I have a tire on a rim meant for a Hyundai That I can't use in the trunk.

The new tire is for the aluminum rim, which has a flat tire on there now.

The new rim is to replace a rim that won't fit on My car, and that has a tire on it.

Well the $38.91 rim or wheel is not "completeable", the seller said that, this is because the rim/wheel is for a 2001 Hyundai Elantra(not in the ad, just afterwards), and not for a 1999 Ford Escort zx2 sport Hot Coupe, so they want to cancel the sale and refund the money back to My paypal account.

I found that 15x5.5" Ford made Escort zx2 rim again, it's the same type as I use now, it's $60.00 w/FREE shipping, and the rim comes with no center cap, so there goes another $9.44 when I have enough for that, plus $46 for the tire, and $6.00 for mounting and balancing, just so I can have a spare tire for My car, otherwise My car will shred a tire again.

Then I still need to replace 3 more Nankang 185/60x15 tires, which other people have said have given them trouble, as in going flat with no real warning.

The above was from your mid Sept. post. You knew you had issues with you cars tires back then.
And what did you do? You wanted a an Xbox and went on a Diet MD and Chip binge. You poured how many bottles down the drain and threw in the trash how many bags of chips after you won the xbox? Why did you not donate the left over spoils to one of your home community centers? Surely there must be some one in your community who would have loved to have some extras.
I'm still waiting on how the trash TV from E-bay will turn out.
Enjoy escaping from reality with your Xbox.

Look, I thought I had fixed the problem with the car, but then I am not perfect, and I can't speak for other people. I was informed the rim I needed was 4x100, turns out I was misinformed, but then some people gotta hate... :p

Hi Vic! I'm glad your gaming system arrived and I hope you have fun with it.

Eric likes gaming too. After dinner some nights, Eric has been playing this alternate history war game. It is a great form of stress relief for him. Eric has been playing this game for several months now, on and off. I keep asking him if he has won, but apparently that's not really the point with this game. I hear the most amusing music coming out of his den. If an armada is sailing, there is a certain tune that happens. If people are riding elephants, there is another tune that happens. If he pauses the game, there's another tune that will play and play and play until I ask him to cut the sound.

I don't really "get it", but if Eric enjoys playing it, that is good enough for me! I can think of worse hobbies he could have...
