I like to mix Code Red and Wild Cherry Pepsi together since they both have a cherry flavor. And I also drink soda pop a room temperature or ice cold. Doses not matter too much to me. I forgot about Wild Cherry Pepsi. I remember liking it, but I can't say I've seen it in the stores recently. Gotta have my drinks ice cold, lots of ice. I even put ice in orange juice! :~) ![]() |

If it weren't for asthma, I'd love cold drinks I didn't know asthma and cold drinks don't mix. What about ice cream? ![]() |

@Gordon, My asthma is different. Cold weather, (Chicago Winters), absolutely kill my asthma. BUT, I CAN drink ice cold drinks. I drink, (from a 7-11 64 Oz Mug), ice water three times a day. I've always been able to drink cold drinks. But the damned cold Chicago Winter air kills me every time. So, when we moved to California for the second, (and final), time - I was ECSTATIC!!!!! I don't feel good, I have not had anything to eat since breakfast, nor anything to drink, I think though I am not hungry, maybe I'm just tired. As James said, you need at least some water. Do you have a blood pressure monitor? ![]() |

I'm amazed at the low prices on big tv's you've quoted. My main tv is a 27 inch Sony CRT that cost over $1,000, back in 2005. The wide screens on today's sets are really too big for my tv's spot, and it's good to know the prices are lower, but I'll keep my CRT going until it decides to give up the ghost. ![]() |

I have a 35" that I thought was huge when I got it. The cost was close to a grand. I don't think I would want anything as large as Vic's. If I want a larger picture I just use my tablet on my lap. ![]() |

Another possible cause of your apparent rambling posts Vic is that you been consuming too many bottles of diet mountain dew which has lead to dehydration. I know you are trying to get an x-box for nothing, drinking large amounts of diet drinks can have that unpleasant side effect. So drink plenty of water for the next couple days to flush your system out. Bob Smith Member of Seti PIPPS (Pluto is a Planet Protest Society) Somewhere in the (un)known Universe? |

Vic, it would be at better to do it continuously during the day not in one big splurgfe at night. Bob Smith Member of Seti PIPPS (Pluto is a Planet Protest Society) Somewhere in the (un)known Universe? |

My 20" Samsung TV, which is also the monitor of my Windows 10 PC, sits on the top of my old Philips TV, which is above a cabinet containing vinyl disks and other old stuff. So to use it as a monitor I have to stand upright, which is healthier than sitting, they say. To watch some TV news I sit on a chair about 3 meters away, so I have to look up at it. The TV is a Samsung which is also connected via an Ethernet cable to a Sky decoder and can print via WiFi to a HP Envy Printer, since it is too far from the printer to use a cable. My latest Samsung Gear watch is also connected via WiFi to a modem and gives me meteo forecasts. Tullio |

That land has fairly interesting recent price history - dropping from 13k to 7.5k in a matter of moths. What's wrong with it? Apart from needing all services hooked up, foundation slab laid.... Can you explain your moving cost please as 0.1 per mile (6 total) sounds impossibly cheap to me for moving your home. 600 sounds more realistic for a"single width" load. I had assumed your place would be split to move as they do here in the UK, due to additional cost incurred for over-width loads more than doubling the price per mile! (I live just off a route used by quite a number mobile home moves and see plenty is split doubles and even trebles sitting waiting for the end of the morning and evening peaks). After sitting around for more than ten years, even in the shade, I wouldn't trust those tyres as heat is just as big an enemy of rubber as UV - just think about the state of your car spare. You should also considered the bearings which will require, at least, fresh grease if not a thorough overhaul. The last thing any of us want to read is that your home was damaged due to as tyre or bearing failure. Vic you've miss understood the figures I used in my earlier note) .1 and 6 were both USD not USD and miles respectively. 600USD is getting to being 10% of the cost of the land, and would probably not include the permit cost which normally additional because the exact route will affect the number and types required. I just hope no overhead lines would ne d to be moved as doing so is almost always "dollarsouch". In your financial situation the extra 10% is important to consider. 1500 bucks back then probably represents 4.5 to 5 thousand bucks today. Get some REAL figures, based on you current and possible locations instead of using 11year old ones. And make sure companies are aware that the mobile they are moving is an old one not a nice shiny new one as they may not want to move it..... You haven't Vic otherwise you would be giving wrong assumptions that you are correcting in subsequent posts. To me it looks as if you have seen a few adverts of rates and guessed at a figure. A proper costing would take into account the route, permits and the like. The same goes for the dismantle and re-assmbly costs, service connection charges, legal fees building permits and any taxes liable on that lot. And before getting any of these costs get some proper advise to find out how much you can really borrow for this move given your current income and expendature including cards, paypal, Amazon loans. And it is My eyesight here, not yours.Uncalled for don't you think Vic? Yes it is your eyesight, so lets look at what will happen if you ignore any optical issues: No more computer builds No more driving No more internet forums to particpate in Of course there is voice software available but that can't drive or build computers. It seems your journal is nothing but a daily blog where you don't want any sensible comments that go against your wishes. I suggest you use Wordpress, better suited to what you want. |
