Should have the power to remove those you elect to office.

It works both ways.

That's the way elections work in a democracy

Consider this GOP strategy. Roy Moore gets elected then expelled. The Governor then appoints Luther Strange which is the choice the GOP wanted in the 1st place......representation of the people chosen by the Party.......sounds strangely...........Crimean?

Outsider opinions.
Al Franken and Roy Moore show the breakdown in today's United States.

It is no news that the United States is a divided country.
But it is unusually clear in the sense of sexual harassment.
The Washington Post referred to an opinion poll on Wednesday.
77 percent of the respondent Democracts say that politicians charged with sexual harassment should resign.
Only 51 percent of the Republicans think the same.
No wonder that the Republicans then stand behind Roy Moore, a man who has made a legal career in breach of the Constitution.

The divide is between those who have ethics and those who only have them when it is convenient. As we all know those that only have them when convenient are called criminals.

Absolutely incorrect. Elections are inferior to the Rule of Law.

Tell that to The Donald or Roy Moore.

A Nation under the Rule of Law. Does not allow 51% to destroy the Rights of the 49%.

It happens many times including up to the constitution.

Funny, I thought a recall election was enshrined in the rule of law in most states. One damn good way to be sure only very popular things get enacted.

The fact I acknowledge it happens does not in anyway say that I endorse it. Stop putting words in my mouth. Is it time for another sabbatical?

The wishes of the majority, cannot destroy the Freedoms, as written into a Constitution (The Law) of the minority.

But at the moment, under the present day rules, i.e. Electoral College et al, are not the majority being ruled by the minority, i.e. popular vote. Which, I cannot imagine, would have been the the desires of those that framed the Constitution.

And therefore the Rights of the Majority have been destroyed.

The majority of voters did not vote for Hillary, Trump or any other candidate.

Under the rules of the election the majority of those that voted, voted for Clinton.
If people choose not to vote then they have given up their right to have a say in who governs the country, and have to follow the wishes of the majority of the voters.

Or to put it another way: The wishes of the majority, cannot destroy the Freedoms, as written into a Constitution (The Law) of the minority.

The wishes of the majority can and has changed the constitution.

True. But how do you think that in democracy the wishes of the majority still grant freedoms of minorities.
Yes. By elections.

An interview today on (GASP!) Fox News with Dr Keith Ablow, Psychiatrist, was enlightening. One subject dealt with the 'Snowflake' segment of today's PC society.

An interesting news video showed rallies that were held on the 1st Anniversary of the Election where people actually screamed their frustration at the sky.................a year later...........can't let it go and still trying to convince themselves and others that it's the President who's 'unhinged'.

Dr Ablow was hired by the CEO of a large corporation to discover why there seemed to be a communication problem between the older management and the much younger employees.

While walking through a large group office of the younger employees, Dr Ablow asked the CEO what he saw on the walls of their cubicles, and the CEO replied "photos". Dr Ablow then asked "of what".

The CEO paused then exclaimed "why, their all 'Selfies'".

And that my friends is the basic problem with the Snowflake generation.
