Eric and I were in FresnoI'm so sorry this weekend visiting relatives. Our niece and nephew there, ages 13 and 16 respectively, wanted to see the new Spiderman movie. Although neither Eric nor I had any great desire to see the movie, it was about 106 degrees in Fresno and movie theaters are air conditioned, the highlight of Fresno social life, air conditioning so we took the kids to see the movie. Glad to hear you found an escape from Fresno for a short while. Otherwise there is this cultural pinnacle http://www.undergroundgardens.com/ |

Glad to hear you found an escape from Fresno for a short while. Otherwise there is this cultural pinnacle http://www.undergroundgardens.com/ Seen it. It was kind of freaky. In fact, I'm pretty sure we've seen just about everything there is to see in the greater Fresno area - the zoo, the air museum, the Fossil Discovery Center (it's worth seeing!), the Big Dog Grill (good pulled pork) etc. |

I just hope you laughed in the most appropriate places ;-) (Laughing in the wrong place is such a great way to wind up film buffs and teenagers.....) Bob Smith Member of Seti PIPPS (Pluto is a Planet Protest Society) Somewhere in the (un)known Universe? |

Its been a long time since I've been near Fresno, last time was in 1968 or so, then I lived in Tulare, though for how long is another matter. I did enjoy the tule fog though. Savoir-Faire is everywhere! The T1 Trust, T1 Class 4-4-4-4 #5550, America's First HST |

I think I've dried out, but I should probably wash my clothes before they mildew. David Sitting on my butt while others boldly go, Waiting for a message from a small furry creature from Alpha Centauri. |

Tule fog can be pretty thick. I hate it when it carries the aroma of cow patties. Which it often does. |
