Cry babies crying about "cry babies". He may be, I certainly am. Just as women appropriated the word "pussy" (among others); homosexuals the words "queer" and "gay" (among others); it may be time for those opposed to the normalization of "45" to appropriate the word "snowflake". I think you'll find it's a bit more complicated than that ... |

Cry babies crying about "cry babies". Except we're not the ones trying to pass laws that allow 'christians' to not have their feelings hurt by having to sell cakes to gay people. Reality Internet Personality |

Cry babies crying about "cry babies". And? Are the pussies really pussies? The queers really queer? I don't care who rightfully deserves the label, only that it's being used by others to label me and my reactions to the last election. Fine, I'll have the label and wear it as a badge of honor. As somebody said in the comments of this Snowflakes are complex, unique geometic shapes, forged in the bitter cold, that can work together to create scenes of breathtaking beauty. Doesn't sound like being a snowflake need be a bad thing ... I think you'll find it's a bit more complicated than that ... |

Cry babies crying about "cry babies". The post you have responded to is indeed the beginnings of that appropriation. Capitalize on this good fortune, one word can bring you round ... changes. |

http://setiathome.berkeley.edu/forum_thread.php?id=80894&postid=1845218 Ha ha ha! I endured 2 years of your winter weather and 37 of my 48.5 years in similar or worse winter weather. Those longer winter walks have inured me against your emotionalism. And my last 7.5 years have been because of your last mistake. Quit yer cryin', shut up and listen. Senior snowflakes must be the worst of all. Capitalize on this good fortune, one word can bring you round ... changes. |

http://setiathome.berkeley.edu/forum_thread.php?id=80890&postid=1845634 While the lesser of two evils is still evil, it is also LESS evil! And Hillary would've been easier to fight, Lynn. Now we have a shock and awe president ramming things down our throats much worse than ACA was a ramming. Capitalize on this good fortune, one word can bring you round ... changes. |

The Trump family has already introduced the now famous product called "Alternative Reality"! Ah, I see! You mean anti-Bunyan!? Capitalize on this good fortune, one word can bring you round ... changes. |

The Trump family has already introduced the now famous product called "Alternative Reality"! Who would want to attempt an intelligent discussion, if the person hinting at one describes a group of others as "fools", "shrill" and "incoherent". Given your language I would imagine that those that may be left leaning will avoid a discussion (intelligent or otherwise) with you CLYDE. Note, there were more Democratic Party voters than those who voted for "45". When you say "Democrats" do you mean them (the supporters), the DNC, those of that party that won an election, or some other group? When you say "Media" do you mean InfoWars, CNN, the NYT, the Washington Times, all of the above, some other set? Sarge, what do you have against mythical lumberjacks? I think you'll find it's a bit more complicated than that ... |

Well we were enjoying some intelligent arguments here for a while, but now that Clyde is back with his usual rhetoric and name calling, all that intelligence has flown out the window again. :-( |

Given your language I would imagine that those that may be left leaning will avoid a discussion (intelligent or otherwise) with you CLYDE. Why do you choose to use generalities and ,when asked for specifics, used other generalities? You do know "The Media" is not one thing, right? That there are, from an editorial perspective, left, right and centrist media organizations? Are they all foolish? If not, which ones are you labeling? You do know that "Democrats" could mean any of the things I suggested, (and probably others too) right? You were the one that asked "Why even attempt an Intelligent Discussion with The Left", while at the same time engaging in name calling. Why do you believe that any from the Left would be interested in an intelligent discussion with you, given that name calling? Why invoke "Right Wing, Nazi, KKK, et al" when these groups were absent from the post I replied too? I have no idea how my previous post confirms anything you said Perhaps you could explain to me in simpler terms how you reached the conclusion that it did. I think you'll find it's a bit more complicated than that ... |
