Eight days belated...

Eight days late is better than nothing. Maybe nothing is what was needed.

You could have said thanks. Whatever.

I suppose I shouldn't post when I'm too tired to think.

I meant to be ironic and to say thanks and probably a couple other things and just plain forgot. I may be forgetting something now.

My 50th turned out to be a real dud. Not only did but a single person here remember it on or ahead of time, I also got only 2 cards (1 of which ended up giving me major trouble). No party with anybody. Made myself a cheap batch of brownies and baked them a bit longer than I care for (but at least not burnt).

Winter depression is setting in. At the moment, so is sleepiness. Yawn.

At our age its not easy to surprise us i guess.
I try not to expect anyting so i can`t get disappointed.
Even tough my last birthday was great visiting a friend in New Hampshire and a road trip to San Francisco afterwards.

There is a post going around, and it is quite profound.

Made by Dwight Eisenhower back in the day.

Quote...........................

"Farming looks mighty easy when your plow is a pencil and you're a thousand miles from the cornfield."

End quote.

And I live in the land of farmers and cow farts.
And I have lived here for all of my life.
So it is with much appreciation, that I can repost this yet again.
God made a farmer......................

I thank those of you who understand.

Posting after dinner. 😃

Roasted chicken, steamed green beans, a very little bit of stuffing, and a sweet potato with butter. (NOT really supposed to be eating stuffing, yet on Atkins Phase 2... Couldn't resist it, though.)
