So you disagree with this then?

Judges are not elected representatives. They are appointed to uphold the law as written, not legislate their personal moral beliefs or pursue a vendetta for a perceived insult, from the bench.

@Sirius...

@Betreger........solution is appointment of Judges who actually defend and uphold the Constitution as written.

Neil Gorsuch is an excellent start to that policy. He can be depended upon to decide against empirical Presidencies and overzealous ideologues in the Congress when they run afoul of the Constitution and it's amendments as written and taken in context with the meanings of the words as used when that document was written, not as perverted by a subsequent wordsmith.

I see reports that other retailers are dropping Trump brands.
Sears Holdings and its subsidiary Kmart, Neiman Marcus and Belk.

And no, before you ask. I haven't got a clue who Neiman Marcus and Belk are.

Kellyanne Conway is doing a poor job promoting the brand. She should try harder.

According to bloomberg.com, "Sales of Ivanka Trump merchandise jumped 21 percent in 2016, according to a representative for the brand. And the collection will be available in 1,000 stores this year, up from more than 800 -- holding to an expansion plan despite the defection of Nordstrom."

Facts are such a nuisance.

Then try the WSJ, their latest says after the fall of 63% at Nordstrom in the final qtr of 2016, they also dropped 43 percent on Zappos.com and 31 percent at Amazon.com compared to the previous year.
Since then, Jan 2017, on-line sales have slipped a further 26% .

Belk is a Department store chain with sort of a southern flair... Never been to one of them.

Neiman Marcus is a luxury department store chain that is *extremely* upscale, selling things like an 18-k gold bracelet with 15.36 carets of diamonds on it for US$ 64,000.00.

I have been in their stores a few times, but don't see the need to pay that much for some useless doo-dads. Really, stuff like that makes one a mugging target.

Thanks for the info, I agree with all your reasons for not visiting or buying from stores like that.
Further info about the Ivanka Trump brand in the Washington Post, that says prices of the imported goods have reduced by 54.4% for the qtr ending 31 Jan 2017 compared to qtr ending 30 Sept 2016.

Uhh... actually, it says that

imports of products that bear the Ivanka Trump name were 54.4 percent lower in the three months ended Jan. 31 compared with the three months that ended Sept. 30.

Sales are down, not prices.

I see that MSNBC, or more specifically the Morning Joe program, that the reptile has been blackballed.
Will any more of the media opinion shows will take this approach.
