18 yr old Glenturret Single highland malt or The Macallan (Speyside) in all its expressions or 11 yr old Rosebank (Now a silent still) or 18 yr old Caol Ila
(Pronounced Cull Eela) or 25 yr old Aberfeldy or Bowmore Legend (Islay malt) or 10 yr old Bruichladdich Oh! and of course there's cask strength Edradour (smallest
distillery in Scotland) 10 yr old Auchentoshan and .....

The list goes on. Do you get the idea I like single malt?

Well if we are going to get specific here there are a few single barrel Jack Daniels that I would love to buy; however, at $8000-$9000 per barrel I think I will wait. I do have a bottle from one of the barrels - goooooooooooood stuff...

If I drink jamaican rum it has to be Appleton's V/X (5 to 10 years in a barrel) or the 21 year old Appleton's..

The only reason I was specific is that single malt is all I drink normally with an occasional beer thrown in when the whim takes me.

I did get some 12 yr old bourbon my my whisky society and thoroughly enjoyed it. All I know is that it came from a distillery in Kentucky. But no idea which one.

Except that JD comes from Tennessee. Check their website whereas Jim Beam is from Kentucky. Although I've got a feeling the bourbon I had was from the Heaven Hill Distillery.

you're kiddin'? heineken may be beer compared to american pee (and, if drafted in the netherlands it is quite drinkable), but i prefer the pils from small german breweries. or, if you are more in the sweet stuff, budweiser (the real stuff from cz, not that us fake beer).
