They said that ALL the ST series will come to Netflix here in austria before Discovery starts next year. I wonder if that includes The Animated Series. Have never seen it. It is on Netflix in North America. |

In the Animated Series there are two episodes of note to Me, though there might be others, all episodes in this series are Canon, no exception: The Slaver Weapon and The Jihad. The Slaver Weapon is adapted from the Man-Kzin books of Larry Niven, it deals with the Slavers, who are a Billion years extinct. And The Jihad is about some alien made recording that was stolen by a member of the Skorr, a species with wings, arms and legs, definitely non human. Some Skorr want a holy war, a Jihad, hence the title. The T1 Trust, PRR T1 Class 4-4-4-4 #5550, 1 of America's First HST's |

In honor of the 50th Just an extra. Paid for 2 day, no speaking role just walked across the scene and looked at a table. Did get to shoot archery with Shatner one day at lunch. Those were college days and I had friends who worked in Hollywood. I would get a call from time to time asking if I wanted to fill in. Did a bunch of commercials, this and Oh God. Another movie I did (a biker film) was never released. |

I've been getting behind watching all the Treks I'm recording. I just watched the 2nd Animated from last week (and still have the 2 from this week). I was not much impressed with the 1st one, "Beyond the Farthest Star," but I really like the 2nd, "Yesteryear." It filled in a lot of holes in my knowledge, especially some necessary back story for novels I read years ago. Now I know about Spock's sehlat, Ichaya. It also got me guessing at who did the various voices. Amanda was obviously Majel Barrett. A couple of others were obviously James Doohan. But I really thought Sarek was Mark Lenard, until he wasn't listed in the credits. Was it George Takei? And what about the Vulcan children, including Spock? Hmm, I wonder if imdb has these details... Okay, it says Sarek was Lenard, uncredited. It also lists Billy Simpson as Young Spock and Keith Sutherland as Young Sepek, both uncredited. And it lists Doohan as 7 voices total. It also gives Takei and Nichelle Nichols "(credit only)" for Sulu and Uhura. [edit] I must add... The 2 episodes I've watched so far have some of the most UNinspired voice acting I've ever heard. Even Nimoy sounds like he's just reading, not performing. David Sitting on my butt while others boldly go, Waiting for a message from a small furry creature from Alpha Centauri. |

I've been getting behind watching all the Treks I'm recording. Doohan voiced the healer in Yesteryear. Doohan, Barrett and Nichols did MANY of the Animated Series' voices. Takei did several voices throughout the series; but, not as many as Doohan and Barrett. TL TimeLord04 Have TARDIS, will travel... Come along K-9! Join Calm Chaos |

I've been getting behind watching all the Treks I'm recording. Now of the 22 episodes, 16 are from the "1st season", the final 6 were I read ordered for the "2nd season", Chekov(Walter Koenig) wasn't in the series cause the budget could not afford Him, but He contributed in writing an episode, the Infinite Vulcan, so two characters Lt. Arex(Doohan) and Lt. M'Ress(Majel Barrett) replaced Chekov on the bridge, from what I read the animated series is the 4th season of Star Trek that the fans wanted, it's too bad there were so few episodes made then of course, I'm lucky that I have them, as is TL with His being on, 11 VHS Tapes. Here is a size comparison of the USS Enterprise, with an earlier lost cousin, the SS Bonaventure (10281NCC), seen in TAS episode, "the Time Trap". The T1 Trust, PRR T1 Class 4-4-4-4 #5550, 1 of America's First HST's |

This ship is from the planet Arret, in our Universe that planet is known as Earth, the ships is from the TAS episode: The Counter Clock Incident, the ship could do Warp 36, and pull the Enterprise along with it without any effort, the Black dots are Stars, dead stars, the White is space, time there flows backwards, as does life, there you are born dead, and die as an unfertilized egg. I had to post this at Einstein so I could sanely move on during the extended outrage, but I wanted to post it here and by gum I'm going to post it here. What the heck was that?? I just watched VOY: Macrocosm, which aired last Friday. At just about 50 minutes, as Janeway and Dr. are about to crawl into a Jeffries tube to leave Sick Bay, she turns toward the camera and says "We'll be right with you." Brannon Braga playing with the viewers' minds? After watching it a fourth time, however, it occurs to me that she might have been talking to the viruses heard pounding on the doors. Always running a bit behind in watching things, I just saw More Tribbles, More Troubles last night. I'm pretty sure Koloth was voiced by Doohan, but Jones sounded like the real actor, although he was not credited. I suspect Filmation made the cel with the "additional voices" credit and didn't want to waste money making a variant of it. The 1966 Enterprise(NCC-1701, no bloody A, B, C, or D) is at the Air and Space Museum, in DC in all Her restored glory, they showed Her before being restored, being 50 years old(it's been that long, wow!), cracks and all, now instead of incandescent lights, there are LEDs inside Her(they were worried the old girl might catch fire being made of 50 year old wood), paint was flaking off, a reel mess. There is even an exhibit somewhere with Kirks chair, the console(where Sulu and Chekov sat, after being restored, I think the bridge exhibit is also where the Enterprise is at) and one of only 2 phasers in existence, the Universal Translator however is lost, either it was thrown away like most props were when the show was canceled or someone has it...
