Yeah I know :) I have Gmail Notifier. I use Outlook Express at home and Outlook at work. But I'm becoming more partial to Gmail. They have an excellent spam auto-filter. I'd say it gets it right around 99% of the time, unlike Hotmail who's success rate is around 20% for me.

Since I signed up for my gmail account I have already received one spam.. The only one that knows my gmail address is Lena. I know she hasn't given it out so I have to wonder where that spam came from..

First check to see if the email addr on the spam is exact. I know hotmail will send thru spam even though the TO doesnt match my name.

When you get spam click the check box and hit "report spam". It'll be removed and anything else sent from them will be put in your spam folder automatically.

Spammers probably start out with a@gmail and go thru to zzzzzzzzzzz@gmail
Who knows but your spam might also be sitting in my spam folder :)

Well, the combination of Outlooks native spam filter and msn/hotmail's spam filter has kept it all out of mine. I do have to go to my junk mail folder every once and awhile and remove legit messages.

Spam is sent out by the billions, Using every conceivable letter combination the odds are quite good that you will get spam. The good news about gmail is that it has a very good filter, also the spam that does get through the filter you can pretty much guess it is spam and click a button and its in the spam folder!

I have used many different programs Spam Blockers and this is the best
I have seen.
