> I've gone ahead and signed up though, I'll check it out. Yeah I know :) I have Gmail Notifier. I use Outlook Express at home and Outlook at work. But I'm becoming more partial to Gmail. They have an excellent spam auto-filter. I'd say it gets it right around 99% of the time, unlike Hotmail who's success rate is around 20% for me. |

I know hotmail will send thru spam even though the TO doesnt match my name. When you get spam click the check box and hit "report spam". It'll be removed and anything else sent from them will be put in your spam folder automatically. |

Well, the combination of Outlooks native spam filter and msn/hotmail's spam filter has kept it all out of mine. I do have to go to my junk mail folder every once and awhile and remove legit messages. ----- Rom BOINC Development Team, U.C. Berkeley My Blog |

Spam is sent out by the billions, Using every conceivable letter combination the odds are quite good that you will get spam. The good news about gmail is that it has a very good filter, also the spam that does get through the filter you can pretty much guess it is spam and click a button and its in the spam folder! I have used many different programs Spam Blockers and this is the best I have seen. |
