This looks to be the best new SyFy series in a long while. It reminds me of a movie named "Outland" starring Sean Connery. The scenario has the moon, Mars and Ceres populated with humans. Commercial space travel dealing mainly with mining water ice from the rings of Saturn bringing it back to Ceres and Mars. There is corruption and lawlessness that forces the need for space warcraft and a healthy supply of law men and women. The spacecraft look believable and don't break the laws of physics. Mars and Earth are competing for dominance of the solar system. The spaceships are fast enough to get around the solar system in months rather than years, ie. no lightspeed. It's pretty close to what I imagine space travel will be like 100 years from now. Four episodes can be watched if you have an on demand service. I get the Syfy channel(still wish they hadn't changed the acronym from SciFi to Syfy). Thanks for the heads up on this; I'm always looking for something new and good to watch. I'll tape it as it appears to be on again this weekend. The mind is a weird and mysterious place |

With this program and a few others they have this year I am finally watching the SyFy channel again, a little anyway. Bob DeWoody My motto: Never do today what you can put off until tomorrow as it may not be required. This no longer applies in light of current events. |

Quite a few Scifi writers have issues with religion. Like the red man said, they all can't be right. With this program and a few others they have this year I am finally watching the SyFy channel again, a little anyway. I read Childhoods End years ago, at one time I was reading scifi books left and right, plus I worked in a LA County Library, of course the Library branch I worked at was closed in 2003 cause of budget cuts. I could think of half a dozen that would have been better choices, scifi's choice seems very depressing and I couldn't get the movie out of My mind, My anxiety went way up. I'm partway through the first episode, and the smartphone shape and swipe gesturing with their handheld devices is kind of getting on my nerves. The mind is a weird and mysterious place |

Plus, why do the sets have to be so dark? At least Star Trek had good lighting, ;~) The mind is a weird and mysterious place |

The dark sets probably hide a lack of detail. Ever been in a bar that is normally dark with all the lights on? Usually not very attractive. Bob DeWoody My motto: Never do today what you can put off until tomorrow as it may not be required. This no longer applies in light of current events. |
